I wasn't sure after I saw the opening message in this forum

Are people seriously saying that OG is going to be one and done? I think he is a sleeper and was slightly overlooked and under ranked, but to say he is one and done is a HUGE leap. I do not see him starting a single game because I'm pretty certain the starters will be yogi, rojo, jbj, Troy, and TB. If somebody was to replace a starter I would have to assume Hartman would be the one to do it as opposed to OG. Lol i don't know why I'm even arguing about this one

just saying this season may not end up being what I had hoped for a few short months ago

I wish we had HMP, Holt, or Davis to come off the bench. It would also have been great if Luke Fischer had never left.

He wasn't released because of anything to do with sexual assault according to Coach K. I wish he would've came to IU.

Transfer Robert Carter from Georgia Tech will also be eligible this year. He was a former 5 star recruit and is 6'8" and will immediately find a place in the rotation. They will be tough that's for sure.

I agree with this 100% Every single year it seems like we fade down the stretch. They need to keep the fire they have at the beginning of the season.

I think there has been a lot of teams with a lot less talent to go on to win it all, so it is certainly a possibility. I think it really depends on how good our guys will mesh next year. I think there were time where our guys were a little aggravated by their teammates and our chemistry was a bit off and we weren't able to play our best ball. Also, a HUGE factor in the amount of success for our Hoosiers is going to depend on how well TB can defend and rebound. An inside presence on the offensive end would be nice as well, but we need a real big man who can defend the other bigs in the Big10. I wasn't too impressed with his defense or rebounding in the Derby Classic or the All American game, but that doesn't mean much, it is an all star game after all. I think HMP is not a Big 10 player and I think he will have little to no impact on our teams success. He has the worst basketball iq I've had to bare witness to in the last several years. He doesn't know how to defend guys his size or bigger. He doesn't know how to put himself in position to get a rebound. He is absolutely terrible with his back to the basket. The best way to utilize him would be off the pick and roll and toss him a lob near the rim, but we rarely saw that. He caught the ball with his back to the basket much too often, which is more of the guards fault to tell you the truth. If they can teach him how to rebound and utilize him to the best of his attributes then he might be of some use. All in all, the Hoosiers have as good a shot at winning a national championship as anyone else. They're going to have a great team.
