Would be absolutely shocked if we see Hartman anywhere but IU playing basketball, truly think he's done with the competitive game. His senior speech seemed like he was saying he was just tired of injuries.

And that's fine because outside of Stevens, Donovan and honestly of guys in College Jay Wright, Bennett would be my guy.

As I've said before my dislike for the offense has nothing to do with style points or because it's boring it's because not once have the averages over 70.4 pts per game, they are not even top 300 in points per game, I wonder if a NCAA champion has ever one being not in the top 300! In points per game.

For one it's more entertaining but however I agree it's more frustrating. I hate that's the way our team is right now and Bennett is a HUGE upgrade but just like my post above I'm weary of Bennett having the ability to win it all until he finds a way to get a better offense which maybe at IU he will, he's earned the chance.

I'm not saying it is, my only concern is a see then score that low too after for my liking and when they do that for obvious reasons they usually lose those games. I'm not saying I don't want Bennett because I do, and maybe here at IU he can recruit some better offensive playmakers that will help that offense become more explosive, but what he has going at UVA I see a guy that will be Bo Ryan which is always competitive in conference but will never hang the Banner we want.

I respect the efficient offense but not liking that offense is more then just it's boring it's that if i was a fan I couldn't stand to see my team lose and never hit 50 points you have to put up points to win in it all, so respect to an efficient offense I just think Bennett needs to find a way to get more positions then.

I agree and maybe at IU Bennett would get the players to achieve this, however at Virginia he's a guy I don't ever see winning it all simply because he doesn't score enough points. You're seeing it this year. Yeah he holds team to 20 pts in some halfs but he also is only scoring 20. Getting deep in the tourney that won't get it done.

It's tough but he was struggling there before and is now leading them to relegation, nice to see a club who doesn't accept one miracle year as sustained success.
