He may not be as productive as yogi but as of now he is his replacement. One way or another until someone else proves worthy he is the only point guard on the 2016-2017 team and his father said he was taking the torch from yogi.

For all you people complaining about signing a kid in the ACC who is a very capable replacement for yogi 1. Go watch some of his game film and videos and tell me you aren't impressed. 2. Stop reading into stats where a slow paced offense was played and finally stop being so negative towards a recruit who just turned down staying close to family to come the IU. Im curious as to who are the best players you guys have seen Or played against while in your High school years and just what made them so dominant? For me as a senior in highschool now the best player I would have played against was either Paul Scruggs this summer or Jaquan Lyle back at his days at evansville bosse. I'm super stoked to play against Park Tudor (jaren Jackson) and the new iu commit grant gelon this year.

Nothing's guaranteed for him to play well. Stan was our 6th man and his play dipped dramatically. I get what you are saying though.

Johnson. You guys remember last year when we thought Stanford would be on the borderline of starting or 6th man? Carved out a 6th man role and his minutes kept dipping with his inconsistent play. Then he transferred. We can't be losing quality players.

Last year we needed defense and a post presence. Defense is yet to be seen but the post presence is there. Hanner and DD being gone could be a blessing in disguise. Holt and Hartman in my eyes are a better duo then those two. Last year we were a very young team which usually means they struggle communicating and make silly small mistakes that end up contributing to big outcomes. Now we are a seasoned team without losing anyone of significance. A great recruiting class with everyone improving. Now with that being said its now or never for crean. The expectations should be as high as ever. We can compete with any team out there so as a fan base we should expect a 25 win season. I think by the time the season is over we are a top 7 team. I like our group of guys to say the least.

If he can fill a zeisloft role in his 4 year period it's not a bad pick up. I am stoked at the chance to get to play against him this year with my highschool team.

Purdue scares me more than Maryland. And I am not fearful of Purdue. 3 rotational bigs for them but losing octeus hurts. We match up great with Maryland. No offense to the kid at all but I have played against him 3 times and have seen him play over 20 times. I have no idea how or why we have interest in him? He's 6'9 and can shoot but that is it. Nothing else. He'd be a great preferred walk on.
