Minutes per game for a whole season don't have to add up to 200

You need some grammar work yourself lol website is written by highschool and underclass men college students. But then again they're getting paid to write while you are stuck writing on message boards

(2017) PF Jack Nunge to Iowa
Iufan2324 replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
He didn't turn it down. Usually 10-15 kids in his AAU program make the trip to Hoosier Hysteria. Could be wrong but I think he was at the John Lucas Midwest camp during HH. He was originally a UNC fan. -
2017 is loaded in Indiana. I'm intrigued with the bigs over 6'10 who can stretch the floor Jack Nunge, Jaren Jackson, Malik Williams. Then of course Gunn Wilkes and Scruggs. Could potentially be Creans most important draft class.

IU Basketball: Who is leaving? Who is staying?

From UNC?? -
My thing is yeah he was probably promised something that isn't true but all coaches make promises in some point of the recruiting process. Also if he doesn't wanna battle for minutes against frank Jackson what does that say about his charachter

Harrison Niego Appreciation Thread
Iufan2324 replied to rebelhoosier848891's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Anyone think this was the plan all along for him? It's a win-win for crean and niego. We didn't have a backup point guard and was insurance for crean and niego gets the exposure of a bluebood program and can test the waters when the season ends? Whatever the reason happy for niego as he should have no trouble finding a mid major school that wants him -
2016 (F) Freddie McSwain Jr. to IU
Iufan2324 replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Has a very pretty shooting form but he has a leg kick kind of like lebron does when he shoots which makes him fade back a little. Has picture perfect shot in all upper body though. I feel like his defense is exceptional. -
Thibs doesn't have a job and makes his players play defense. Fife I'm not sold on either but I think he would be better than Crean and has an IU background. Tyron lue has been an assistant for many years, played in the NBA, and has coached the top players in the world. He could get recruits and all coaches/commentators rave about how he is deserving of a coaching job. A lot of the good NBA assistants are better than the low tier teams head coaches.

I'm a little late to the party but here's some coaches that I would love to see at IU Tom thibeaudau Archie Miller Dan fife Steve Alford Brad Stevens Tyron Lue All of these guys would be upgrades on the coaching end. Recruiting I am not so sure.

So I'm sitting here going over the past few years. And I think Tom Crean gets a whole lot of one dimensional players. They either shoot well, can creat their own offense or rebound well. None of them are known defenders and most don't have multiple things they are good at. It is easy to defend teams where there players are only really good at hurting them in one specific way. If you take the one thing they are good at away its makes for average or below average outcomes. So coming out of highschool here's what some of coach creans recruits are known for Jbj=shooter Troy=high flyer dunker Yogi=off the dribble guard (can't pass) Juwan Morgan= rebounding Hanner perea=dunker Zeisloft= shooter Get my drift here? I could keep going and going. We need players with more arsenals to there games. Yes this team is fun to watch but what's more fun is watching wins.

Tom Crean and his one dimensional players
Iufan2324 replied to Iufan2324's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Yeah I don't expect us to have players who are good at everything. But we don't have 4 or so players who are good all alround at a lot of things. Yes it's good to have one dimensional players or role players but you can't name me a team that had only one dimensional players and accomplished a final four -

Through 4 games and is not as good as of passer than most good programs. -

Ok hulls could shoot and play mediocre defense. he couldn't shut down the other teams best player I think. Again my point being you shut him down he is unidentifiable in the game.. -

Both have equal fault. How does yogi not dominate and only score 11? -

Yes and hard to think of a Crean recruit who was a post player and had somewhat of an offensive game and was elite on defense. CZ is as close as you can get from what I remember -

Have you seen his jump passes? Yogi is great he's awesome but passing is far from his strong suit. It's one of his weak parts of his game that being turnovers. His assist to turnover ratio is far from impressive. If he is a great passer why is he playing off ball and not given more ball screens to go create? Like I said yogi is a great player but passing is not his cup of tea.
