    I'm trying to remember Gates' history, but it has been a long time ago. Seems like he was, at one time, the voice of the old Fort Wayne Pistons, and even did one of the first NBA all star games?

    Back when Chuck used to do the games, occasionally the signals would go blank for a second or two. We used to joke that he had tripped over the extension cord again and unplugged all the equipment.

    Some venues get labeled as "neutral" when they should not be. Is playing Auburn in Atlanta, or us playing anyone in Indianapolis, actually "neutral"? The sites may not be Home, Sweet Home, but they are hardly neutral either.

    Well, that and only taking jobs with teams who had 2-3 of the best players in the league. A lot of coaches could have won a lot of games with those teams.
