I think that speaks as much to how slim the pickings are for Karl, than anything else. Full disclosure: I know he gets a lot of hype as a great coach, but what has he ever done with any of the talent he has coached? What has he ever won, in the NBA or in international competition? I've just never been a fan of his.

I'm convinced he can. I am not convinced he would. Here is why I think he could, from your own words... So, then it becomes a matter of effort, concentration and discipline. Those are what he lacks on defense.

I think the PF position is the real wildcard there. Depending on how coach wants to balance things (meaning starters/bench or offense/defense), and how he wants his rotations do work, we could see Davis or Hartman or Morgan. Or Williams, if he does return.

Ahhh! It is all becoming clear now. His reduced role during the season was just a clever ploy by the coaching staff to ensure that TB would have no choice other than to return for at least one more year! Seriously though, I think a lot of these guys would do well to pay attention to Yogi's progress during his Senior year, and try to follow that same blueprint.

A lot of talk in this thread about shooters, scorers, slashers....... We need defenders too. Especially if JBJ is going to be playing. Gonna have to cover for him. So, are any of the guys coming in of any worth defensively?
