    Yeah, somehow I forgot about losing four players. I guess they are right - Memory is the second thing to go! I don't remember what the first thing is.

    I feel pretty comfortable in saying NOWHERE else has copied the name of the spot-in-the-road where I grew up. Gnaw Bone, Indiana For those who don't know, it is on State Road 46 about five miles east of Nashville, Indiana.

    I am curious about McRoberts as well. He may not have the most talent of any guy on the team, but he worked his butt off when he got a chance. I really like that sort of player.

    Not sure if those are the best players from the "previous generation to use as comparisons. Sure, Bird had back problems largely due to his all-out style of play, but Isiah had a bad injury (which may or may not be addressed differently now) and Magic had HIV.

    Probably good advice, but I prefer starting hysterics early and avoiding the crowded rush. Why wait until the last minute when the hysterics-sphere will be so crowded. No, I prefer having some elbow room.

    For one thing, JBJ was always all about............JBJ. It was not shocking at all (to me) that the team was better the year he missed with being injured.

    Most NCAA and NBA players should be happy I'm not a Ref. A player might get ONE warning during a game, but other than that I'd be calling Tech's when they break into their displays of drama after each call. I just get sick to death of the whining and showboating.

    If nothing else, use him in a Brian Sloan type of role. I think he can be very useful setting screens and picks.

    From the quoted article: "Brooks reportedly had been leaning toward Michigan State or Purdue because previous coach Tom Crean had not shown him much love." Why am I not surprised by this? How many times have we heard this same thing about Crean and numerous players? It is enough to make a person crazy.
