IU @ Maryland Official Game Thread 9PM ET on ESPN
Hoosier_roots replied to FortWayneHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Dakich should tell Crean about how Johnson shoots better on the right wing. Lol Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
@ Maryland Rutgers @ Penn State Michigan St @ Michigan @Northwestern We're going to beat Rutgers but every other game of the next 6 is very losable. Izzo will probably be making the corner with his team by the time they come to Bloomington and much like Pitino, Izzo knows how to pressure Crean teams out on the perimeter. Tough stretch coming boys. Buckle up. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

There is a really interesting documentary called At All Costs on netflix that's a good insight to the recruiting cycle through AAU ball. Worth a watch. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
Here's an enjoyable video breaking down Coach Stevens out of bounds plays. It will make you laugh and it will make you cry. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

I was noticing the empty seats directly behind the Ucla bench at the same time Bill Walton was rambling on about how it was a "packed house" and there wasn't a "seat to be had". Lol. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

IUMBB vs Wisconsin - Game Thread - 1/3/17

I see another tight margin here in this one and the Sconnies go home with a loss. Nigel Hayes will never know what it's like to win in Assembly Hall. -
I like the Chris Collins thought. Seems to be a good coach with a good background. Think he's just in a bad school? I'm sure the recruiting is tough for him in that region too. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Its a real shame to watch the likes of Butler, Purdue, Notre Dame, and even ISU get out there and represent hoosier ball the way it should be represented while Indiana runs around with no discipline and no direction. People love Brad Stevens because his boys play with grit, intelligence, purpose, and boy do they come prepared. He's the opposite of CTC essentially. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

IU vs Alcorn St Post Game Thread

Far to many easy drives to the basket. This team was a lose lose for our guys tonight. Do something good and its because AS was so bad, screw something up and it looks far worse against a team that bad. Overall I'd say AS was that bad and the boys did what they should've. We saw what happens against stiffer competition and I have a feelings we'll see the same on wednesday. These Hoosiers in Cameron? I'm scared! -
Potential replacements for 2015-2016
Hoosier_roots replied to Iufan2324's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I know its probably more than a long shot but, doesn't it feel weird that Swanigan, Indiana's Mr. Basketball, backs off MSU and we happen to have a scholarship available at the time? Two different unusual circumstances happening by chance? Just has a weird vibe when I think about it. -
(2016) C Thon Maker
Hoosier_roots replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
What school is going to hold out a scholarship for him? My guess is ASU. I don't see pUKe or any other big school taking that risk and if IU were to go that route I'd be very disappointed. Undermines the idea of academics and takes playing time from the players that have been there all summer busting their asses to improve. -
Report: IU vs UK series may return by next season

I love reading UK fans comments about how they feel a threat to their safety when they're inside The Hall. lol Talk about a mental edge. Even the fans are shittin their pants. -
Tom Crean to Alabama Rumor Thread

I think Coach Marshall does a great job of getting his players to play hard no matter how much "talent" he may or may not have. And in my mind that is at least half of playing good basketball. Thats my kind of basketball! Combine that coaching ability with more recruiting power that would come from coaching at a place like IU and I could see him being a very successful coach here. Coach Miller I think has had too limited a career to get behind just yet. That being said, my heart is set on Coach Stevens. Pipe dream or not, that kind of excitement around a program can lead to alot of positive dominos falling and I think he would be the ideal coach and representative of Indiana basketball. -
