OK sounds good. I think I am now being followed. LOL thanks.

But really Nebraska hasn't been Nebraska football since Tom Osborne. Living in the BIG12 country I found it very interesting being around many Nebraska fans. When they announced they were leaving for the B1G they thought they were returning to the glory days of Osborne. LOL, I just chuckled to myself.

Agreed. After Knight we made some bad or reckless decisions while searching for a coach. I think the AD and mega donors need to be willing to play big bank next time around.
-
Did anyone see the LSU game with Kentucky? That was some of the dumbest coaching and clock management by LSU down the stretch. Kentucky should and could have lost that game.
-
I agree with some here on Crean. If he has no plans on leaving then keep him in place at the moment. But also be willing to have some replacement coaching options on hand if necessary.
-
Man that is a tough call. I really dislike what has happened to the college game today with AAU handlers etc. Kentucky is easy to dislike but it will take a couple things to happen for them to loose. A. They will have to be off and play average to poorly. B. The other team will have to have a great game.

The discussion is about facilities. Try following the thread before joining in. Ugly probably not but the big mascot at center court also does not make it the best by any means.
-
There is a lot of differences but I am not going there discussion wise. I am not interested in being accused or attacked regarding the subject matter. I am sure the AH updates are well planned out and will be great. We will need to wait and enjoy the finished updates once they are completed.

I will really look forward to making back to Bloomington after all the renovations are done etc. I am sure it will be nice.

With the fan base it's hot. But it seems Glass and others are less concerned at this point. But that could possibly be smoke and mirrors.
-
I think Creans seat gets pretty warm if next years seson is average to sub average.
-
Agreed. Maybe one rides just a little bit better or ruffer than the other. LOL
-
When I first read this I just couldn't believe Crean would be that foolish. In many decisions in life you always want to upgrade your situations etc. That would not have been even a lateral move. It's like a girlfriend, always upgrade if your going make a move.

Bob Knight was a great coach. I wish things could have been different towards the end. I seriously doubt he will ever return to Assembly Hall. I read something recently were Ed Hightower had praised him for his coaching and knowledge of the game. Hightower said something about he knew the game better than any coach on the bench during his time officiating. Hightower mention you might not always like the way Knight said it but he was usually right.

I liked the guy even before the 30 for 30 segment. He pushed himself and everyone around him. I thought trash talking etc. was a lot more than we see or hear in today's game. Enjoyed it throughly and it's funny how he is so entrenched in the Kentucky fans minds. Good stuff.

Potential fallout from coaching change

Please quote me anywhere were I am stating I hate Greg Marshall. If we think a mid major coach is all we are worth then we are sounding pretty desperate. I would HATE to think he was what we would be willing to settle with. -
It's all good. Everyone needs to get out and explore a little bit. Done.
-
No I am not. Born and raised a Hoosier but moved out of state after college. Most of my family are still living there. I live in jay hawk country but very far from a KU person. I live 30 minutes from Lawrence. Why wouldn't a basketball fan go see a game there. Really! I am not talking down Assembly Hall and the 40 million dollars earmarked are a good sign. I have lived in six states since college and I can't help saying their is a lot to see and do etc. Good lord.

The floor design etc. Is very historic etc. Please don't get me wrong. Yes it is somewhat historic but I have attended a lot of games in a variety of gyms in other conferences etc Their are some good ones out there. Anyway, I am not trying to have a debate etc.
-
Just an opinion but AFH is a better basketball experience than anything we have in the B1G. But if you like new oversized type gyms we would not agree much on gyms. I would like Kansas to join our conference. I think it is a good place for any fan to experience a BB game.

LOL, No I did not. Appreciate the heads up.

Interesting. I just got a reply deleted. I think. Thanks for the link biteoftheapple. My reply was some how deleted. Oh well.

I don't know the man personally so I can't answer that directly if that's your question. I have just read or viewed local media coverage that sometimes doesn't flatter him in a positive manner.
