Random IU FB Recruiting Info
Falcons replied to HoosierReb01's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
Ive been pushing really hard for this 2017 3* RB to join the team. Started with him telling me IU wasnt really on his list and now they are top 3. Told me they were pitching proximity to home, playing right away, tradition. I told him what was really up: this team is on the rise and RBs and WRs that were just like him develop into NFL talent. and then he told me some other things... lol -
Indianapolis Colts Off-Season Thread
Falcons replied to Dalton26's topic in National Football League
jesus christ matt ryan has been playing like poo all season. throwing it 2 yards short in the dirt, missing wide open wrs, and today god awful interceptions. weve turned the ball over like crazy and if it wasnt for our defense, we'd be getting blown out. neither offense did much good at all -
IU vs. Michigan Post-Game Thread
Falcons replied to HoosierReb01's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Thought Sudfeld shoulda gave it to Howard on 3rd down. Hell of a fucking game by our OL and Howard. Amazing effort by the whole team, so close on that goalline stand at the end of regulation. Great fight! Lets remember that its never been like this where we have challenged every team we faced and top ranked teams - Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa, and Michigan. This team is trending upwards, have to like that. -
yep

Damn I played ball with him back in the day, cant believe he went to IU pretty cool

For the 2nd straight week, our offensive play calling was awful. This time the 2nd half was pretty poorly called. We had a chance to take control of this game, our ball down 26-28. Howard rushes for 9 and we get 0 yards on the next two plays and punt. We get the ball back at the 40 move it a bit, its 2nd and 4 and we were getting great push in the run game. Two incompletions and missed FG. You could without a doubt see our offensive line had their defensive line tired and playing on their heels. Instead of doing the smart thing and continuing to run it, we threw the ball and it costed us a chance from really taking over the game. Also, I am tired of seeing that trips play on 3rd and short, every time we run that, it gets blown up or does nothing. Back to back weeks those trips plays are awful. Spread them out so they cant stack the box and allow our offensive line to be even in numbers with defenders in the box and make a hole for our RBs. It is not rocket science.

Some mistakes but only down by 1!! I say we continue to send the pressure, we aren't good enough in coverage that an extra man or two is going to do anything. Keep sending Simmons and hope we get home a few times. Watching some of these runs I can only think to myself "If TeCo was still here, thats a TD!" lmao. keep it in sudfelds hands imo

Indiana vs. Rutgers Post-Game Tread
Falcons replied to HoosierReb01's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Terrible play calling. You don't keep running it against stacked boxes and blitzes on 3rd and short and keep getting stopped short. If you run it there, at least spread them out. Fucking pathetic. No bowl game this year. -

Bobby Richardson - New York Giants
Falcons replied to biteoftheapple's topic in Hoosiers in the Pros
Sucks that he plays for the Aints. Was hoping my Falcons would take him. Was happy to see him in the starting lineup and say "Bobby Richardson Indiana". Saw him make some nice plays and Gruden compliment him. -
We did really well against Hackenburg last season. This guy folds under pressure. Get to him early and often and then he will start taking sacks and get totally out of rhythm.

Indiana goes toe to toe with the top-ranked team in the nation
Falcons replied to theronjohn1's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Really like Diamont. Was funny after the game seeing tOSU fans cursing out Diamont and calling him Johnny 2.0. He does remind me a bit of Johnny with his speed and size, but needs to get that 'I am running backwards and am just gonna launch it someone catch it' throw down. -
Man great game. Some questionable play calling throughout the entire game. Think we should have won it. We definitely got hit in the mouth a ton of times, but responded well every time. Proud of these boyz!!
-
I know some recruits, some good ones and some lower ones, but when I tell em to go to Indiana and what not, they always tell me Indiana sucks. Highly doubt that getting blown out by tOSU would hurt us that much if any. However, if we were able to win or keep it close, could do wonders for us. Remember, we kept it close with tOSU last season until the 4th quarter with Diamont at QB. I think we can definately challenge them.

I will get to watch it since I am in ACC/SEC area! Will tell y'all what goes down.

Great Game by Tevin!! Can't tell you how long it has been since we had a RB have a 4 ypc average. He had about -10 in losses due to our s&$*%y offensive line and then -15 from holding. Oh well he played really well tonight ad it is clear that he should be the feature back. I was smiling ear to ear all night lol

turn up

Tevin announced as starter today!! He had a really good week 4 pre season game and showed the running ability we saw at Indiana. So excited for him to get his first start on MNF against the Eagles in his first game, he will do well.

Hawks were trying to target younger people with these jersies and they were successful. As a Hawks fan, its just good to see people talking about us lol. But I love the jersies, just wish we would have used the old yellow instead of the volt green even thought they still look fine. Also, it isnt anything new for the Hawks to have wild jersies, just check out some of the old ones lol

(2016) CB A'Shon Riggins to IU

Another commit on the defensive side of the ball, I LOVE IT! Having a 6'0 CB is going to be great! -
(2016) RB Chanwtrez Moss to Pittsburgh
Falcons replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
Thought I would post this. Here is Moss and some others (Chris Evans, Noah Burks, etc) who are on/were on Indiana's radar at a Nike Camp. Moss only has one run that they show at 1:50 fyi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_O9dG3dPr4 Compared to some of the other regional camps, the RBs weren't as elusive. Really wish we had gotten Evans. -
Being an Indiana fan I am rooting for him big time, but with the depth at the WR position the Falcons have it is going to be difficult for him to make the roster. The Falcons will likely keep 6 WRs and Julio, Roddy, Justin Hardy, and Hester will be 1, 2, 3, 4 in that order. Leonard Hankerson will make the team unless he gets injured in pre season. The best chance Wynn has of making the team is to beat out Eric Weems. Weems isn't a great WR by any means, but he is a ST ace and that is where his value is. Wynn is definately a better WR, but when you are that far down the depth chart you need to have value on ST (and for the Falcons it would not include return). I see Wynn most likely being signed to the practice squad and being called up if someone gets hurt. He could very well beat Weems if the new coaching staff wants a younger option at WR since Weems is on his last leg. However, I know for a fact that Weems has a ton of respect in the locker room and from coaches who have remained here. Can't wait to see Wynn in pre season though!!

@Maganimous I was going to make a post about the stats between the two too, but you covered it lol. Lot of excitement for Coleman in the Falcons fanhood. Mag are you a Falcons fan or just a Hoosier fan? Anyway, go Hoosiers and RISE UP!!

As an Indiana and Falcons fan, I can't be more excited!!!! He will likely be the starter right out of the gates and if not, he will still be getting carries. LET'S GO TEVIN!!
