Someone tell me to stop worrying...please!

Every football team has varying level of concerns. It's quite normal. I think you're going to like fants coverage skills and dutra is a natural ball hawk. So really there are two guys I trust which is a good start. Let's see how the other spots shake out and go from there

Best atmospheres at an IU Football game

I'm a little younger but beating Purdue to go to the insight bowl in 07 was just outstanding. People jumping all over each other and the way it happens stands out to me. Now if I'm including awayyyyy games some friends and I ventured over to mizzou last year on a whim, got tickets in the Missouri section and got to enjoy that beaut. Seeing the team celebrate and come to the iu fans corner (which we made our way over to) and sing the fight song was so cool.
  3. That name is new to me as well. Time to research! And hutch, please keep it coming. I just absolutely love this coverage of our football team. Thank you!

Analysis: The hunt for a 4-0 start

Oh no no not lynch. Dad will never get over letting Bill Mallory go. Like ever.

Analysis: The hunt for a 4-0 start

Whenever I think of iu and trying to or feeling like we should get bowl eligibility I quickly get reminded by my brain with images of Nate Sudfeld turning backwards to pass to tevin against Minnesota and watching the gophers take the fumble fifty yards the other way. I'm still sure that play happened in slow motion. Dad started instinctively yelling "BRING BACK BILL", his go to move in frustration. Look, I think we win all 4 non cons. This team should be mentally tough enough to get through that slate. I think we get Rutgers and Purdue. There are chances of wins against Michigan and Iowa for sure. I think somewhere between 6-6 and 8-4 is the window. How we get there though is where the fun lies. WHEN DO MY SEASON TIX ARRIVE

Five Key Questions for IU Football

This fits in with my "worst fear" mantra. It's just so unbelievably hard to believe we will ever become respectable with musical chairs not just at HC but all over our staff. One reason I think a good year is coming is because our staff has stayed intact. Continuity in the message is huge in college sports.

Five Key Questions for IU Football

I'm excited to see guys like Noel Padmore get some PT and tony fields showed signs of being "Allen-like" when I was at the mizzou game
  8. I'm with natural on this that his seat is very warm. I've been coming to iufb games since I was 4 with my dad and 24 years later I'm as in love with this program as I was then. Is it misery?? Maybe. But I really truly believe Wilson is the man for this job. He has brought a new attitude to the players and I think that they believe they are going to do great things this season and THEY have wilsons back. I think we win our 4 non conf games and get two or 3 in BIG play. Rutgers and Purdue for sure IMO. When do my season tix arrive??

    Preseason Predictions

Digging the call on shaw. Great motor. I also wouldn't be shocked if Latham cranks it up a notch or two and gets his fair share of sacks and TFLs

    Preseason Predictions

I'm holding out hope he gets cleared. I'm ready for this thing to get rolling!

    Preseason Predictions

I think fields played last year. Don't know if he is still a frosh. Here are my picks! Rush TD: Howard Rec Yards: Patrick Rec TD: Booth Tackles: Scales Sacks: Mangieri Int: Dutra Impact Fresh: Tyler Green

    Sudfeld at Manning QB camp

Sudfeld needs to and, I believe, will take a huge leap this year. I believe in him a ton. I think Camion Patrick will be a huge X factor on how it all goes IMO. I'm so very ready for this season.

(2016) RB Kiante Enis to IU

Curtis is his uncle. I'm saddened by losing out on these in state kids. Gonna have to go steal some other states talents and flip a couple of these guys.
  14. Very cool insight. I have enjoyed watching yogi grow as others have in bball and most importantly life. I'm so excited to have our floor general back to lead these guys to some great things. HOO HOO HOO HOOOOOSIERS!!

    Interesting Q&A with Coach Wilson

I think that Wilson just likes to really keep things close to the vest.  While Howard has had a nice couple years at UAB he has not done it for Wilson and at IU so he will be slow to give praise until he "earns" it in BIG games (this is my thought on how Wilson feels, I am ecstatic about Howard).  This write up is about as peppy as Wilson has gotten and that is exciting in itself.  Season tickets can't arrive fast enough...why do I love IU football so much haha.

    WTH is this?!?!

I will have nightmares now knowing that thing exists as a species.

(2015) C Caleb Swanigan to MSU

This isn't 1980. There is more at play than just staying and playing at Indiana. Handlers in this case and maybe style of play.

    T Coleman to the Falcons

    I second this!
  19. It's not just one class that derailed the last 2 years.  There has been a multitude of issues.  I also agree that Noah being so talented early on was awesome (obviously with his play) but hurt us because now he became a for sure 1 and done which we did not need.  The Fischer issues were frustrating too, especially with my understanding that he left because of teammate issues.  A head coach oversees everything and absolutely all of this falls on Crean's shoulders one way or another.  But along with that the successes have to be acknowledged too.  While the movement failed he has put together some gems along with the failings. We need continuity for sure...I am rambling
  20. I still make a comment from time to time where I just say to my friends watching the game "Hey guys, remember the movement?" And we have a good chuckle. It was a hyped up class when really it shouldn't have been. Yogi was a talent deserving of the hype but we should have (and I'm sure some of you did) quell the enthusiasm over the others. Perea needed and still needs a lot of work (though he is getting there, finally). Jurkin never seemed to have a chance with injuries and lack of hand eye coordination. And please don't get me going on Hollowell. I loved what he could've been and who knows the behind the scenes stuff but I'm just disappointed he didn't pan out. Don't forget too that having Cody be basically our only recruit from the year before didn't help either.

(2015) C Thomas Bryant to IU

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
  22. It's early in the process still. I have a feeling his recruitment won't end now. Wouldn't be shocked either way if he stays with this commitment or flips down the road.

(2015) C Thomas Bryant to IU

I had a dream an announcement was tonight at 6. I gotta stay off this page....I'm disappointed in myself!
