I agree that Crean is better at developing players than teams. Fisher went to Crean with a legit problem and nothing was done about it. Crean struggles at teaching individual and team defense. He struggles at teaching kids to value and protect the ball. He favors flashy over consistent.

Do you honestly think that he or any of our players will play like Duke players? Individually or collectively? We don't have coach K, Bo Ryan, Izzl, Calipari, etc. We have Tom Crean who has had one good team in 7 years here and that team couldn't play defense or take care of the ball or attack a zone.

They didn't do anything that the 1991 Running Rebels didn't do.

That's true. He's not. And the board and president should be flooded with emails too. It just seems like the media and the fans are as soft on this administration as our team is to the opposition. This shit doesn't roll at UK or UNC. If we are upset at the university de-emphasizing the basketball program and ceding big time basketball to MSU, Wisconsin, UK, Lpisville, Kansas, Duke, etc, then they need to hear it. I mean damn, Texas and St. Johns have higher expectations for their basketball program than we do.

It's looking more and more like he will be a Hoosier. Kentucky is the only other possibility. Does he want to play behind a couple of guys at UK? It's possible I suppose.

To miss out on Marshall to a football school to keep Crean for another year is sickening.

Archie Miller is better than Crean, no question. A lot of coached are, unfortunately. Crean isn't terrible, he's just very average.

Lose so many Indiana guys to other schools.

I'm conflicted. I'd love to see a change. But at the same time if we can make the tourney and get Bryant, Crean could turn this whole thing around next season and be wiser going forward with roster management.
