Not necessarily cupcakes in non conference. Nobody seems to know about western Kentucky, this is a good team with a high scoring offense and a great qb in Brandon doughty. I'm saying we lose that one thanks to our defense, 3-1 in non conference isn't bad. we need to take down wake forest who is a power 5 team. But It should be a rude awakening to open B1G play with the defending national champs. Maybe we can stun the nation...

Been scouting this kid for 3 years now, star player on his hs team all 3 years. Kids got a great shot, loves to shoot off the dribble, like yogi. Could develop into a valuable player if he puts in the work. He originally committed to Bradley but then decommitted once he was offered as a walkon at iu. Really excited to continue to see him play.
-
Let's be real here people, this is a very favorable schedule for the Hoosiers. First off we need to go 3-1 or better in non conference, then focus on big10 play. But there is a very good chance we will go bowling
-
There's the attitude! 6 wins would be monumental for iu football. We could finally get to a bowl game, and possibly win!!
-
I'm actually pretty excited for the football season also. A bowl game would be amazing, programs on the rise
-
Even with all of the competition at WR I'm not sure he will see the field very much. Especially with Patrick and Hawkins having prior college experience.
-
Anybody high on Austin king? I know he won't have an immediate impact being a QB, but he has potential to start down the road
-
He just needs to get off to a good start in non conference so he can ride that into big10 play. No doubt he's gonna be shocked when we play osu and msu, hopefully he will adjust
-
I sure hope they go bowling. It would be amazing. Wku would definetly be a good win, they're tough.
-
Also the fact that he went to play in an elite level program at Tennessee has to be a confidence booster.
-
Very optimistic, but not as far off as people may believe. Wku is a good team with a great offense, but defnese could shut them down. At Psu is gonna be a tough one, as well as iowa. If anything this is the year, favorable schedule, michigan, iowa, are down this year, could possible win both. I totally agree with you, but it will be hard, but very possible.
-
With the schedule coming out, what do you guys think is a reasonable record? I'm think 6-6, a lot of winnable games this year. Sept. 5 Southern Illinois Salukis Sept. 12 FIU Golden Panthers Sept. 19 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers Sept. 26 at Wake Forest Demon Deacons Oct. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes Oct. 10 at Penn State Nittany Oct. 17 Rutgers Scarlet Knights Oct. 24 at Michigan State Spartans Oct. 31 --- Open Date --- --- Nov. 7 Iowa Hawkeyes Nov. 14 Michigan Wolverines Nov. 21 at Maryland Terrapins Nov. 28 at Purdue Boilermakers
-
Totally agree. Should make a huge impact especially since he's coming from jc.
-
Ok I understand that, but I mean it's not like this guy is coming back from an injury, he played last year his program just got shut down
-
Out of all of our new recruits, which are you most excited about? Not inluding Hawkins and Howard (transfers)
