Aminu finishing with 43 points, 10 rebounds, 4-9 from 3 is exciting - no doubt. He doesn’t look that good to me though, more like a 3 star recruit. It seems like he’s very casual and sluggish out there. He dominates because he’s a little taller than most of his opponents and can dunk when wide open. Most of his points are just open lay ups. He’s not very impressive to me. I don’t know how he became 11th ranked in ESPN’s 2021 recruiting class However, I wasn’t very optimistic about Trey Galloway, and boy he proved me wrong! A five star recruit- and 11th in the country, would still be great.

So what we lost by 22. Texas is probably better than what they’re currently ranked. And we had Brunk out. However, we need to play Galloway more and Lander less. Lander doesn’t play defense and can’t make any shots. He’s too inconsistent to be a 5 star recruit. At least we play again tomorrow. Even if we frequently lose it’s still fun to tune in.

I think adding Trey and Khristian is better than Devonte and Justin. So I think we’ll be a little bit better this year... I’m glad Rob hit both his 3pt shots and I liked how we fed Trayce. TJD however doesn’t look like he’s put on much muscle over the offseason which is disappointing.
