My take away's: Jones/Green are both really good outside shooters and will help us right away. Davis is really good defensively, but is still working on his offensive game. A nice contrast to Bryant. Blackmon struggled a bit early on, but got into rhythm midway through and hit a few 3's. OG was capable of getting to the rim at will. RoJo looked good, hit some 3's and penetrated well. Team looked sloppy with some passes, but that's to be expected.

I can't tell you if he will, but in my mind there is no excuse not to. Lagow isn't working. We put up 12 points against an okay defense, that screams we need to make a change.

Did we really dig a hole vs Nebraska due to our defense though? We got in a 17-0 hole where one touchdown was mainly from an incredibly lucky catch and another a pick 6 from the offense. I really disagree with your assessment of our defensive game planning. This is the first week our defense really dug us a big hole to start I thought and even then, they held Northwestern to 24 points and dominated for most of the game.

Well, we do have the younger QB's (Ramsey, King) getting a year older. Camion Patrick will be healthy (not coming off a torn ACL) and will be moved back to RB to help the running game. We don't lose anyone on defense we can't replace due to graduation. Simmie Cobbs and J-Shun Harris back for the offense.

Everyone should be out of excuses, including Wilson. His turnovers alone are far too costly not even taking his complete lack of accuracy into account.

If Lagow starts next week, there is something seriously, seriously wrong.

The fact Lagow is still in the game is mind bobbling to me.

Yeah I know some people are skeptical of Preston, but i'd take him in a heartbeat. A class of him, Wilkes, and Smith would be outstanding.

So basically, you're attempting to find every excuse to not give us credit when we get the targets we're after?

I'd love for the Pacers to sign him for the Mad Ants if he is cut. We could see a back court of Yogi and Zeisloft again!
