Indiana @ Iowa Game Thread... #BuckleUp

Don't even know why I bother watching these games and let my blood pressure get up...we always find new ways to lose these types of games. Never fails -

He's talking about people sitting courtside (expensive seats) aka Gucci Row -

And we are REALLY REALLY bad -
This is embarrassing....there are teams in high school in Indiana that could beat us. Turnover every other possession is inexcusable
-
Puts Purdue in great position to win the B1G now
-
Because he doesn't fit Crean's style....he doesn't turn the ball over at high enough rate and makes too many smart decisions
-
These numbers are completely meaningless now...only way we're getting in is if we win 5 of our last 6 or win the B1G tournament....and we all know neither are going to happen. What a complete waste of talent and a season.
-
Remember when Crean compared this team to the 2013-2014 team with Noha Vonleh before the season started and we all thought he was out of his mind??? Well he wasn't that far off...this team is a train wreck and not many of these kids even care to compete or win just like that team
-
Crean needs to take notes on Painters limited rotation. Went 8 deep but only 7 players logged more than 5 minutes. Keep the rotation shorter and let your best players play until they absolutely HAVE to rest or get in foul trouble. That's the only plus from OGs injury sadly is that it shortens the rotation leaving the best players to play longer

IUMBB vs Michigan State Game Thread - Saturday at 4:00 ET

Freddie has no business playing unless it's garbage time. His basketball IQ is non existent and when he's in on offense it's almost like we're playing 4 on 5 because you don't have to defend him and he's almost guaranteed to turn it over when he does touch the ball...I mean he double dribbled in the game yesterday. After elementary school ball that should NEVER happen! He's athletic yes, but a basketball player hardly. Play him during Priller time and that's fine. I honestly don't see what Crean sees in him. If we had gotten him as a freshman you have time to develop a player like him but with only 2 years you're wasting a scholly on a project -

In my opinion we played much better today because Crean was forced into a smaller rotation thus no ridiculous substitution patterns and left his best players in until they HAD to come out either to fatigue or foul troubles. That has been a major issue this year is Crean trying to go 10-11 deep with this team thinking he's going to wear teams down and keep our legs fresh when all it really does is disrupt the flow and chemistry of the players on the floor and not letting this team get into much of a groove. I think that once Morgan comes back, Freddie shouldn't see a minute of floor time and only have DD, (one of Cujo or Green), and McRoberts come off the bench. McRoberts is our new spark plug and glue guy and needs to be seeing more minutes in my opinion...he's basketball IQ is off the charts and hardly ever makes a mistake or shoots anything he shouldn't. Crean just needs to stop with his gimmick game plan of running and just be smart and play your best players as much as possible...like almost all teams do -

Just need to finish this out boys....not over yet -
Only chance is if we go 10-8 or 9-9 in B1G play and win a game in the B1G tournament....chances of that happening are slim. This team has zero leadership along with a terrible coach so chances of them turning this thing around are slim to none. Biggest waste of talent I can remember
-
Looks like it's gonna be a 2 team race for the B1G this year between Purdue and Wisky. With the shooting, inside game, and defense...Purdue is gonna be a tough out this year. May get bashed for this but I'd take Swanigan on my team over any other player in the country...he's unstoppable
-
Good teams find ways to win close games...wish we could say that about ourselves. I would kill to have a player like Swanigan who you can count on to score or get fouled in the clutch
-
Only 8 turnovers and 15-15 from the FT line....that's how you get it done
-
I say we make a push for Holtman as our next coach...can you imagine what he could do with our talent???
-
Why can't we be as disciplined as Butler is...if we only had a coach

Indiana vs Louisville Game Thread

Bryant has really regressed from last season...not sure why DD hasn't seen a minute since we went on a little run to cut it to 6 with him in there -
Indiana vs Louisville Game Thread

Our D has been much better but the shots just aren't falling (and they rarely do at Bankers). Take care of the ball and hit the open shots and we can get back into this game. As far as going inside we need to avoid going to TB as his inside game is terrible. If we wanna play inside go into DD...need to start attacking the rim and creating shots or drawing fouls -
Anybody still think OG, TB, and JBJ are all going pro after this year???.... just said it last week and I got bashed for it but at most I think we'll lose 1 of those players I know it's still early and a lot can happen but again I just don't think any of these players are ready. We could be loaded next year if that's the case
-
He's the ultimate Duke prototype! Not sure how you could ever root for a player like that even if you're a Dukie
-
Call me crazy but Louisville doesn't scare me. I had more confidence we'd beat Louisville than Butler just last week. Even after seeing them take down UK I still say we beat them by 7-10. After we lost to Fort Wayne I said we'd still beat UNC by 10 while everyone else was jumping ship on this team and I think we'll see the same here. We're still a VERY good team who will be playing in front of a HUGE IU crowd and we'll get up for this game like we do all top 10 games
-
I think IU rights the ship that game and wins by 7-10. As long as we're not playing an in-state school with less than 10k enrollment I think we're good!

I don't think Blackmons size translates well into the NBA as a 2 guard and he certainly doesn't have the ball handling skills to run point. He is nowhere to be found in any mock drafts and most project Bryant to be a late first rounder or 2nd rounder and I just think he loves Indiana too much and will try to get his degree in 3 years and go pro after his junior year when he has guaranteed money coming his way as a potential lottery pick. OG without a doubt could go after this year but does anyone think he's in a hurry to go pro???
