That might be because Ky could put as many of their fans in Pauley as UCLA can and it would be a lot like a neutral. That would never happen here. I agree its probably a little wave to IU also.

I agree totally BGleas,There's not a guard in the league that JBJ could guard right now.If he works hard on his defense maybe he will get an opportunity..Hope for him he can because its his dream but hes got a a long way to go to get there.

At least 5 or 6 times last night I saw Emmett And even Perea with perfect offensive  post position with their man sealed and begging for the ball.What happened ?Yogi or JBJ looked them off only to take poor and selfish shots.When a big is working hard, rebounding and blocking shots they should be given a chance to be part of the offense. Its a a wonder we can even get a big to consider us much less commit the way we use them.

Just watching on TV it looked like the balconies were empty.i know this was not a marquee matchup but it looks like the crowds are trending smaller this year.The SMU crowd looked sparse.Going to have to drive up and see some games this season.Should be easy to get decent seats.

Actually this game might be a good time to try to put two bigs on the floor at the same time, then when one overreacts to a head or ball fake there will be a shot blocker at the rim and not a 6'3'' guard.

Sorry but I have to disagree with the teaching from a loss standpoint. There is no such thing as a good loss.You play to win no matter who the opponent is.I'm pretty sure E W S took this as a real game.And when it comes selection time this game could get them in as easily as it could keep us out. We are going to have plenty of games that we will lose this year but this shouldn't have been one of them.

Yep, and when he's pounding the air out of the ball at the end of games we know where were heading .

That statement from Coach Crean about the last 14 seconds of the game was unbelievable.  You want to lengthen the game so you go for a layup instead of a three down by three.After they score  Blackman hits a three.All this with timeouts to use.That's some great strategy there.

Eastern Washington would have at least 35 by now.

Collin Hartman is the best center we have and he's 6'6'' and playing on 1 & 1/2 legs.

 Being as small and athletic as this team is you would think perimeter D would be a strength. Outside or about seven Minutes in the first half with Stan And RoJo getting after it it was pitiful.Guards getting in the lane at will and then once there....,well you know the rest of the story.

I think he showed us what kind of coach he was in 2012.
