I agree. As Hanner and Holt learn their positioning in the zone and Troy or whoever has weak side help consistently it'll only get better. The guards have to do a better job of keeping the opposition out of the lane.We cant funnel them  like the Ky's and the Louisville's of the world do .Just don't have the size or depth in the front court.   I'm sure CTC is aware and working on it.Like you said its trending up.

 The offensive stats look great but the elephant in the room is defensive efficiency which currently stands at  172 nationally.That wont get it done.I think its getting better but still a long way to go. Let the doomsayer attacks begin even if misguided.

Alan Henderson is still the only player to be  top  5 in scoring ,rebounding,blocked shots & steals for IU.He's an all time great. Couple that with Nover who is arguably better than any big on this squad and that comparison doesn't hold water.That was one of the Hoosier's best squads ever even though they didn't win the title.Thanks Teddy.[attachment=1514:1992.jpg]Just look at the players on that team!

   I noticed that too. it was pissing me off and I was watching it on TV.I could see where it could be an annoyance to the players. Between that and the coach acting like an ass I am really starting to dislike the cornstalks!

  I remember Bobby saying recruiting was the part of coaching that he really disliked. Cut into his fishing time.   Probably cost him in his latter days here.

    Spot on about Yogi.  I think that may have been one of his best games as our floor general.We need someone who values possessions and looks to distribute rather than the razzle dazzle and score we get from him sometimes.   When he plays as he did last night we become a much harder team to guard. I hope this is an indicator of things to come and not a fluke. Maybe CTC is in his A#$. Should have been a long time ago.     Go CTC!   If he ever wants to play in the league he'll have to gravitate towards that part of his game.

 I was actually trying to make a joke.Apparently a bad one. How about until he gets it straightened out we don't need that out of him.  On the serious side there's plenty of good shooters on this team  and he's not one of them yet.

Is there any inside info on Emmitt's status this morning? He really looked awkward and possibly injured on that breakaway.

 Nice post. Spot on about the national perception although I think that could turn with a couple really good years. Whether we can get there from here's a totally different story that I wont get started again. Also I like 55 year old women in bars at 2 AM. Love those young chicks!

If going into cardiac arrest is fun then yeah! They would have lost this game last season and could have just as easily lost this one. They showed some resolve down the stretch that was nonexistent last season and Yogi didn't force like he's prone to. Lot's of positives and if we can tighten up the defense we'll be good.  We look a lot like Villanova but the reason  they are ranked as high as they are is defense.We can be a good defensive squad but not there yet.
