I saw that also. Joey looked emotional when Trace was talking about the positive attributes he brings to the team and then slapped him on the knee in appreciation. I think this team has a closeness that was missing on last year's squad and also think the newcomers are a huge reason for it.That includes Franklin also. But then again I was highly intoxicated at that point and may have misinterpreted what I saw.

My wife and I attended this game and it was a very fun night.Nice crowd and you can really feel the momentum building with this program. The Patburg girl is an absolute joy to watch.She runs the point with confidence and is super quick with a good shot off the dribble.Her on ball defense is really good. Coupled with a great pizza at Mother Bears it couldn't have been a better trip to Btown.

When he misses he makes sure they're ugly.

I think the injuries played a major role in his defensive struggles.I often saw him trying to face guard and have players blow by him.He had very limited lateral mobility. He was a great rebounder out of the guard position,one of the best we've ever had.Good rebounders for the most part aren't lazy as half of it is desire. Never understood the **** people gave that kid.I wonder how many games those teams win without him.
