This! Holt is likely a little green still.  Be happy CTC recognized that and didn't throw the kid to the wolves last night... Imagine the mini meltdowns on here if Holt had played and gotten embarrassed in some way or made a crucial turnover. Here's to Holt getting his feet wet against Lamar, and hopefully alleviating a lot of our interior woes!

On a bit of a side-note for our players or young posters:          If you have been caught participating in illicit activities, be honest and up front with your parents/guardians. They have your best interests in mind and will go to battle for you to the bitter end. Do not lead them out on a limb by fudging the facts, e.g. telling your mother you didn't get caught trying to use a fake ID or telling your mother "somebody must've slipped something in the hookah". (C'mon man!) Do not compound forgivable mistakes by lying about them. You may be worried your mistake COULD disappoint your loved ones, but the lying WILL definitely disappoint them. Don't let your cover up be worse than the crime!

Geez, kind of reminded me of some tv interview Trey Lyle's mom gave after he committed to UK. She was BS'ing to the reporter how great the academics were at UK, meanwhile you could hear Trey in the background doing another interview saying he was "just looking for the fastest route to the NBA."

Having seen IU's current options at the 4 during the exhibition, Crean would have to be hitting the hookah pretty hard to not start Troy... Stan has relegated himself to the 5th guard in the rotation and has been on thin ice since June, Zoloft and RoJo take his minutes for the most part.

Question for the board: If you're Glass, do you fire Crean with the program having the issues, real or perceived, that are currently surrounding it? We saw the post-Sampson clusterf*ck, and that it likely shortened the list of coaches that would be willing to take on a rebuild (I believe Tony Bennett of UVA wanted no part of it). Would our list of potential suitors be drastically shortened if Crean isn't permitted to right the ship and leave the program in a more appealing position? Discuss... nicely, please!

I am going, the guys that will be playing need some love from the IUBB fans (positive reinforcement). I actually have 2 extra tickets in section 7 (on wooden bleachers, behind the basket, to the side)... Holler at me if you want them gratis!

I imagine that is the mandatory "sentence"... Crean, like any judge, could give any number of games suspension just for a player cutting eyes at him during practice if he wanted.

Yeah, I know, I meant that the Troy and Stan didn't fail tests this weekend. The drug screens were administered at some point between Canada and now...?

Did coach say the drug tests were failed over the summer?
