He will run for 1400 yards or so, and probably go to the draft. I think we will be fine and its nice to see us pumping players to the NFL. It helps recruiting.

Did we make a mistake by not going after Jerry Kill? I know he has some health issues but Minnesota just continues to play solid football. And recruits worse than we do.

I feel like this kid will go to Oklahoma. We are so crowded with scholarships and he has some lean to stay home. Plus Oklahoma has a good coach in Lon Kruger and a decent basketball program. Although basketball in Bloomington is a different feel than basketball in Norman. Kevin Wilson could explain that better to him.

Im still sore over the Fischer transfer. I loved that class and I thought he would be an All Big Ten Center. Why couldnt he have at least played the whole season out and than evaluated things? Grrr.

April looks talented, it could be an injury issue that kept other schools away. We should just redshirt him and develop him over 5 years.

Minnesota and Maryland over us in bowl projections. We will have to be 7-1 for him to project us to a bowl. Personally, I think we would smack Minnesota. Should have last year.

To me, it looks like, we look the part of a Big Ten team. In the past, we relied on special unheralded talent like ARE, Levron, Ogunleye, Hardy, Lewis, Chappel, Doss, Latimer. But we just never had the depth and the size and quickness at most positions. Especially on the lines. We had MAC rosters for the most part. Marcus Thigpen would be the #4 RB on this team. The linebackers are faster. The DTs are bigger and more athletic. Its amazing what a couple of years of decent recruiting does for a program. I think we will have a chance to win 6-8 games this season. Hopefully.
