The MAC has a bunch of good HC candidates for teams like us right now. PJ Fleck, Dino Babers, Rod Carey, Pete Lembo. Not to mention Justin Fuente at Memphis and Ken Niumatalolo at Navy.

I hope Kevin Wilson is the HC here for a very long time. But let's say he leaves for whatever reason. Who would be on your alls short lists? This is inspired by the Illinois situation.

Illinois will be better. Bill Cubit is the Interim HC and he's a better coach than Beckham ever thought he was.

Cole Gest is a sleeper.

They have a 4 star RB that we recruited very hard and finished 2nd for. He's a stud.

I'd take Alford over Crean.

No Crean hate here. But I sense he sees the end is coming. When the President calls you out, that isn't good.

This is the 1st time I have ever seen an IU player with a "chip on my shoulder" attitude. It reminds me of the Pat Fitzgerald Northwestern teams that win with the "us against the world" mentality.

The thing is, if Crean underachieves this season, the fanbase will be calling for his head. When Glass has to speak to McRobbie about it, McRobbie will be quick to bring up all these minor incidents. Not saying this will happen, but it's a scenario that won't play out well for CTC. Basically, in a nutshell, if you are Plumber, and the repairs you make continue to have leaks from time to time, your company is going to be very unhappy. Now, start showing up to that job late 2 days every week added on to that, and your very likely to get a pink slip. Crean is underachieving on and off the court. He does do some things very well and I think his good guy routine could also be a way of defusing our fanbase a little bit. Either way, this is all going to blow up in some capacity in the near future.

Most recruits know that IU fans want Crean fired. I'm personally hoping he turns it around but he should have left and went somewhere else. It would have benefitted both sides. But he's here, and I support the coach and team.

Josh Newkirk is in the Tracy Abrams mold. He's fine. He can play in the Big Ten. He is good enough for IU.

I think we have that in Fant. Unfortunately, we only have 1 guy like that when we need like 4 or 5.

Against NC State, he went 5-5 from 3 and scored 20 points. He's quick and he can defend. I think he's a Big Ten caliber PG.

Well, he has a season in our program to get better. I always liked him.

I watched the spring game. Here are 10 observations I made. Just watched a replay of it on Youtube. 1. Sudfeld is very far ahead of our other QBs. His size is a big difference. He can see better. 2. Redding is a talent. He doesn't dance around. He goes hard and churns his legs. He will play a lot. 3. Cobbs is NS favorite target. He's big and hes sure handed. Reminds me of Tandon Doss. 4.Harris is a big loss. Paige is quick enough to help ease that blow. Savvy player. 5. Diamont can run. Needs to get more comfortable throwing it. 6. Scales is an All BIG LB in the near future. 7. Latham can really move for his size. Future NFL lineman. 8. Ditto for Feeney. He can carve out a hole. 9. Toth and Oakes are the best K/P duo we have had in years. 10. Our CBs give way too much cushion and are blocked very easily. Obviously we have improved since this game and have added many players via Post-Injury or Freshman class. I feel good about this team. I feel like this is a 7-5 team. That's where I see us.
