I honestly don't know. If it is then ISU's chances would increase. I'd go back for a burger and beer at Charlie's Pub and Grub and breakfast at Cackleberries.

2021 NCAA March Madness - Indianapolis

$$ are crucial to the NCAA having lost megabucks last year with no tournament. 500 paying seats at SSAH or relocate to Ball State or Indiana State? No idea what their seating capacities are but I'd wager even at 25% capacity you can seat a lot more than 500 butts.

    College Bball Thread

My fear is that's exactly what will happen to us. Currently we have a scheduled home game against Michigan on the 27th and then our season finale at PUke on March 6. B1G tournament starts on the 10th. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see us get games crammed down our throats between the 27th and the 6th. Another example of poor leadership at the top of the conference.

2021 NCAA March Madness - Indianapolis

And now this from Osterman - Assembly Hall games will still be seen by limited audience, per IU release. "Up to 500 spectators," including "a limited number of seats ... for vaccinated medical personnel and first responders from Monroe County." "Indiana University’s plan, based on recommendations from the Medical Response Team, is consistent with the attendance policy at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall during the 2020-2021 basketball season permitting immediate family members ... and staff members to attend." Won't we look great if Tippecanoe and Marion counties OK 25% capacity? If that happens, I could foresee the NCAA moving games away from SSAH to a different venue.

2021 NCAA March Madness - Indianapolis

Numerous reports this morning - The NCAA will allow a limited number of fans at the NCAA tournament, including all rounds and the Final Four, per release. They will allow up to 25% capacity with physical distancing. Let's hope that Indiana's numbers don't skyrocket between now and the tournament to cause the Marion, Monroe or Tippecanoe County Health Depts. to nix that plan.

(2022) - SF Alex Karaban to UConn

Karaban says he talks to both Archie Miller and Mike Roberts regularly. On average he is hearing from someone from IU once or twice a week. He said he “definitely” feels like the Indiana staff is making him a priority right now. The other schools that fall into that category currently are Providence, Creighton, Virginia Tech and Stanford according to Karaban. IUWBB vs Michigan - 2/18/21 @ 6:00 on BTN

In a great back and forth game, our Hoosiers pull out a 70-65 win. Really hard fought by IUWBB. Mackenzie Holmes with a big takeaway under the Michigan basket with 29 sec. remaining then 2 crucial free throws from Berger with 25 remaining. Then another defensive stop by Holmes with 17 sec. left. Points: Patberg 21; Berger 16; Gulbe 13; C-H 8; Holmes 6; Moore-McNeil 6. All of Berger's points came in the 2nd half. Reb: Gulbe 7; Holmes 5; Berger 4; Patberg 4 Assists: Berger 4; Patberg 3 Only 9 assists on 22 made FG Shooting: IU - 37% FG; 50% on 3s (9-18); 90% FT (17-19) Michigan - 42% FG; 27% on 3s; 70% FT Outrebounded 41-28 Last number I heard is that Michigan had 13 offensive rebounds. We need Holmes to find her offensive game sooner rather than later. 2-8 tonight but her defensive play in the last 30 seconds of the game was crucial.
