No idea what the future holds for IU basketball under DDV but he and his staff are not out honing their putting skills at Pfau. We had everyone in Rock Hill, SC, on Wed. and Thurs. for the NBPA Top 100 Camp; Sammy Jackson arrived last night for an OV; we hosted a team camp today and still found time to extend offers to Kohl Rosario, Deron Rippey, Jr. and Arafan Diane in the last 24 hours. Oh, and Latrell Allmond will be in Bloomington on the 17th and 18th for an OV.

While playing for Iowa United on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit this spring, Dianie has averaged 16.8 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks. He has jolted up to the No. 23 overall prospect and No. 1 center in 247Sports’ Top-150 class of 2026 rankings after being ranked in the eighties a few months ago. Much like his game, Diane’s English is a work in progress – he speaks five other languages, including French, which is the official language of Guinea – but he made clear that he was feeling confident in his performance at the Top 100 Camp. “I’m feeling good,” Diane told Hoops HQ midway through the event. “I’m pushing my team in winning every single day. This is a good opportunity. Most people don’t have this opportunity. I’m African. That’s different. FYI for those that follow IU targets on X, I've never seen a tweet from Jr. Every acknowledgement of offers or stories about Jr. are tweeted by his father. Listed at 6'2" by 247, he attends Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ and plays AAU for New Heights on the 3SSB circuit. The Daily Hoosier reports his AAU circuit stats as averaging 15.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. Before the Top 100 camp started, word was our staff would be paying close attention to Quinn Costello, Arafan Diane, Vaughn Karvala and DaKari Spear. There was a report earlier today that Deron Rippey, Jr., had also drawn our attention, however, I've not seen anything to confirm that. Costello had a really good performance and already held a number of high major offers. Within the last 24 hours, PUke, Michigan, Texas, Boston College, Providence, Michigan State, Texas A&M and Syracuse have all offered. He was the offensive efficiency leader at the camp. He attends The Newman School and a high school teammate of Collins Onyejiaka.
