After I watched the replay, it looks to me like he partially closed his 3rd, 4th and 5th fingers and then clearly extended his index finger into the eye.  If you're playing legitimate defense, I don't think you'd do that with your fingers and run the risk of getting a dislocated finger.

Have they issued an Amber Alert or considered putting his picture on a milk carton?

The way they stunk in that game, the whole team played with deflated 'balls'!

HMP is not going to turn water into wine and he's not going to walk on water and become our saving grace on the basketball court.  The only difference he might have made in the PUke and Wisky games is that the margin of defeat may have been a little less.  How many minutes would he have realistically played before picking up quick fouls against PUke' twin towers or against Kaminsky and having to go to the bench for an extended time?  It's easy to play 'what if' games but the fact is that Hanner is halfway through his junior season and what sustained contributions has he made?  1 or 2 great games, a couple of good games and a whole lot of mediocre games at best.  We need a 'big' and his initials aren't HMP!  But what do I know, I'm just old and cranky.

IHSAA and the NCAA - 2 of the most outdated institutions in the world and slowly but surely their imperialistic world is crumbling around them.

The Mackey crowd chants "IU Sucks" and we were only too happy to oblige.  Bitterly disappointed in how the team seems to have regressed these last 2 games.  If they can't get a solid bounce back win Saturday against Rutgers then this season is going nowhere because this team will not win at Wisky.

I don't think he's fully adapted to college ball vs high school.  It was easy for him in high school to score and he rarely had to play tough defense for extended minutes.  As for "the look", I saw him play multiple times in high school and he never showed lots of emotion.  Face was usually very expressionless.

Part of his minutes due to RoJo's knee injury (which we don't know the severity of) and the other part of his minutes because CTC is admittedly reluctant to have 3 freshman on the floor at the same time.  So if not Stan, who?

Taking 1 game at a time is crucial because we have such a small margin for error.  Have heard that PUke's leading scorer may not be able to play and if he does, his overall level of play may be less than usual because of an injury to his finger but it's still going to be a tough game because of their 2 7' Neanderthals.   OSU is certainly not the same caliber of team Matta has had for so many years and they are not unbeatable in Columbus.

I would be extremely disappointed if Hanner is simply handed the starting role back.  Except for a few spots here and there his contributions haven't been nearly as significant as has Holt's (based on minutes played) and certainly not as significant as what we've gotten from Hartman the past several games.  I think we've ridden high expectations for Hanner far too long.

1981 second round game IU vs. Maryland.  Maryland jumped out to a quick lead and looked like they would blow the Hoosiers away.  I remember Knight just sitting quietly on the bench and really showing very little emotion.  TV timeout and boom, from that point forward we absolutely kicked the crap out of Maryland winning the game 99-64.  At one of the timeouts, the TV microphone got a little too close to the Maryland huddle and picked up Lefty Dreisell asking his team if they enjoyed getting embarrassed.    

A great deal of this team's success lies with the play we've seen from Hartman.  It's like his injury and the period of rehab made a completely different player out of him.

No doubt we couldn't have done it without their stats but every player that Crean put in made a positive contribution.  This was truly a TEAM win.

Such heresy.  Flog him; burn him at the stake; revoke his Sam's Club membership!

Another game that last year's team would have lost.

So far it's like watching a replay of the MSU game except for that godawful orange jacket on Groce.

April may be a 7 footer but I hardly consider him full- bodied and ready for Division 1 basketball wars with the likes of L'vlle, Duke, Kansas, etc.  By the time Montrezl was done dunking on him, April might have only measured at 6' 4".
