Class of '66 Old Fart

Calbert is untouchable as the best scorer and most will say Alford the best pure shooter.  But, on the same team with Alford was Jeff Oliphant from tiny L & M High School.  Oliphant suffered a serious knee injury and rarely saw action but I recall reading articles that he could routinely beat Alford in games of 'horse' when regular practice sessions ended.

Did he shoot it after he hit it?

I for one really don't care anymore.  I think the current university staff has gone out of its way to make amends and he's rebuffed every approach and hasn't yielded so much as an inch.  IMHO he's become a sorry old man and if he wants to take his bitterness towards IU to his grave so be it.  It was only a handful of people that were responsible for what happened and there have been a thousandfold people who have tried to make it right and he's thumbed his nose at all of them.  As far as I'm concerned he's just a footnote in IU basketball history.

Is Jeremiah going to be Jurkin 2.0?

Wish him the best and hope he's able to work his way into meaningful minutes.  Brad Stevens and Danny Ainge aren't stupid so there's something they saw in his year overseas and his summer league play.  Seems like it's been forever that we've had this many IU players on NBA rosters all at the same time.

I guess we should be flattered that every kid we make an offer to seems to be followed by an offer from Tom Izzo and MSU.

Yogi FerRELL and 'opened his account' - love the announcers and they don't come across as 'homers'. 

Is there more to this story that isn't being revealed?  My god, it's only Canada not some third world country.
