Courtesy of @RaceToTheTop back in June '19 Remember David Williams? Jacksonville high player in 2009 that was given an offer by an IU assistant without talking to Crean. Williams accepted......the assistant who made the offer was fired and IU backed off. I believe Roshown McLeod was the assistant. Actually played 3 seasons for UNC Greensboro https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/david-williams-1.html -

After we've kicked ND's butt from South Bend to Choteau, MT Friday night, Saturday morning hangovers and students on vacation will likely keep the crowd at SSAH in the low double digits. The Choo Choos (8-4) have scored 85+ points in 5 of their 12 games. Not a strong 3-point shooting team at just 31% and allowing their opponents 34%. Preview Radio Live Stats -

Our very own Lone Ranger — Trent Sisley is in the house today while Oumar Ballo is in the dog house. -
Likely Painter’s to lose. Sister on PUke women’s team and another committed to PUke.

Smacks of desperation to me. -
And 8 of them entered the portal after the season ended from what I read. NIL does not automatically buy you commitment or loyalty. It buys you warm bodies.

His base of support is eroding. Not all of his supporters are blind to the product he puts on the court and they are coming to grips with his lack of effort in high school recruiting. Consider this my Christmas gift to all of you — Mike Woodson will not be our coach next season. -

2024 General Recruiting Thread (BBall)
Class of '66 Old Fart posted a topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
It's never too early. Ya think there's already a connection established via our new assistant coach? Jacob Polacheck -- UConn and Indiana are starting to show interest in 2023 prospect Donald Villard as well as 2024 prospects Caleb Middleton and John Kallon. Not much out there on either player. NERR: Caleb Middleton is a 6'8" forward who attends New Hampton HS in New Hampton, NH. Not much out there but this snippet from New England Recruiting Report -- Caleb Middleton, Dover - Although Middleton is currently out with a broken arm, he was in attendance at Saturday’s Elite 75 and expects to be an immediate impact player in the NHIAA this upcoming season. At six-foot-seven, Middleton can play inside and out, and has a frame to keep growing. NERR: Caleb Middleton, who will be joining New Hampton’s class of 2024 next year, was the first player to catch our eye. He has a terrific early combination of size, skill, and fluidity. He runs and moves well for someone his age who is already every bit of 6-foot-9. The versatility in his skill set is very intriguing as well. He can step out and make threes, put the ball on the floor, and score inside with baby hooks and good footwork. In short, he’s bound to be one of the top early prospects in next year’s freshman class. John Kallon is a 6'3" PG from City on the Hill (MA) Charter School in Boston. https://www.zagsblog.com/2020/08/19/class-of-2023-john-kallon-hoping-to-take-two-visits/ NERR: In the class of 2023, John Kallon was particularly impressive. Again, he’s far from a finished product, but he’s a budding big guard with good size, pace, and smooth playmaking potential. He’s going to have to keep developing his shooting mechanics and learning how to play the point guard position, but his natural ability is clear and he showed some flashes of high-level plays throughout the practice. -

Thank you. If you've noticed I'm not following and routinely posting game stats for all of our offers because it is meaningless under the present situation. But when I can simply copy and paste a box score without having to spend much time looking for it, I'll continue to do so. -
While on his visit last night with his parents.

Tweeted earlier this evening we've extended an offer. 6'3" SG/CG who attends Newton HS in Covington, GA. Rivals has him #90 nationally. Quite unique that his surname is the same as the school he attends. Plays AAU for Atlanta XPress 16U on the UAA circuit. 247 Rivals https://popscoutbball.com/2021/05/12/pospcout-hoops-scouting-report-2023-jakai-newton/ https://yt.d0.cx/watch.php?v=&p=PL9FsodJEhGmp3BPXGtk2-Fafig1nGMQWS -
