The Yukon Quest (which is much harder than the Iditarod) is still going on here. Actually, the winner crossed 2x days ago. So, the Iditarod is right around the corner. If everyone wants me to keep the posts going, i sure as W. Lafayette will.

I agree that there has been some progress and development. Smith is the prime example. Is he still making dumb mistakes, yes. But, he is learning his role on this team and Archie has him playing off his strengths. Al is another that has progressed. Injuries have hurt is in a HUGE way. We are behind in overall development because of this. I still have faith.

Please lord, order Matt Hurt to come play for Indiana. I know it's your will that he play for us. And the other teams he is looking at all play for the devil. Aloha will be be a better person if you make this happen. Can't change him being ugly and looking like the back side of a bus. And one last thing baby Jesus, there is alot of hate on this board and you can smite any one of them hateful, no-gooder purdue people any time and make the forum better for those of us that are close to perfection. From what i remember, he was completely different than anyone else we have. He didn't play the 5 but was an old school big-10 brute that banged inside and out. Again, this is from memory (don't have much these days) but he would clear out the lanes for Hurt who was really skinny back then.

In his final year of high school he averaged 19.6 points and 8.9 rebounds" he played on the same AAU team "D1" as Matt Hurt. He graduated HS early and redshirted with IU. I may have been wrong about the injuries (redshirt) but maybe i'm not. I remember reading something somewhere when i was following him and M. Hurt. But, he did redshirt.

i watched a few of his games a couple of years ago. Man, he was pretty dominant inside. He used to play on the same team as M. Hurt and they are real close friends. I'm very excited to see him conditioned and on the court. He was redshirted for an injury/surgery not because of his playing ability.
