  Maybe in a few more years he will come back as an assistant ala Jon Scheyer at Duke. Came back as a special assistant and was promoted to full assistant this offseason after just one year. Not a bad first college gig.

Careful when grouping EJ in with those other guys. He's come back to campus since leaving and he watches/tweets about IU games all the time (even before his little bro was on the team).   A lot of people look at him as an IU great, more in the sense that he is an incredible in-state player who had 1 great year at IU before realizing his NBA dream. 

  Whoops   Here's the updated Bleacher Report - they have him going #5 to Boston Can't find a more recent Sporting News one... it looks like they just have one that they keep updating, with the most recent update coming 3/26

Alright last 2!   HoopsHype (USA Today Sports) has him going #7 link SB Nation says #10 to the 76ers link

Also, CBS has a couple of other draft predictors besides Parrish:   Zach Harper has him at #9 to Cleveland Matt Moore #7 to Sacramento 

Bleacher Report mock has him going #9 to Denver  link Sporting News says he goes #7 to Sacramento  link

  They've offered Doral Moore but I don't know how serious things are with him. I would think Giddens and Zimmerman are IU's best bet at landing an elite center in 2015. Plenty of other guys further down the ranks to go after if the top guys don't pan out. 

  In 2015, the other big time center that Crean is recruiting is Daniel Giddens. 6'10 center out of Marietta, GA. He's ranked #31 overall in the 247Composite. Indiana has offered, though his Crystal Ball currently favors Ohio State. Not sure what his timeline is, either.    Crean's also going after a couple of 6'9" PF's in the 2015.. Raymond Spalding out of Louisville and Alex Illikainen from Minnesota. 

  I said this in a different thread, but at this point the reasoning for IU making the final 8 doesn't matter. It's time for Crean to put on the salesman hat and do his best to keep building the relationship and push for an OV.    Edit: Also, "Elite 8" is hilarious. That's just a mom-thing to say

Trier used to play for Team Takeover but is now playing with Athletes First (as noted by a quote in one of CC's posts). That used to be a negative for IU, but with Kenny at UL now that might actually help Crean out. KJ still has a lot of pull in the DMV but him not being with Team Takeover has got to make a difference there. 

  I think that's a bit of a reach. Even so, the fact that Crean got in the "Elite 8" (nice word choice, Mom!) means that he can continue to focus on building the relationship with Stephen and family and hopefully convince him to come out to Bloomington.   Anyways.. Does it really matter what the reason is? IU made the final 8, now Crean has to work his butt off to keep them in the picture the next few months as his OV list develops.
