If we get another five star center...

We are definitely better in creans system with an athletic center more like cody that also runs the floor so I think we need to make sure we recruit centers like that and it will all take care of itself Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  6.
I have to agree with Jurkin on that one (holy crap, that happened). We need him to be a facilitator first and take his shots if/when they come in the flow of the offense.
I agree but to be successful next year I feel like hes going to need to be able to score for us here and there and also be able to be a go to guy late only other person I see being the go to guy late in a game would be Blackmon and that's a lot to ask of a freshman that we haven't even seen play a college game yet Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  7.
1) Hanner has to become the shot blocker and rim rocker we thought he would become 2) Yogi has to make the transition from the primary scorer to an assist focused PG. With the number of scoring threats we will have next year, our offense will rely on Yogi's vision, passing and ball security. 3) Troy needs to be excellent at slashing and cutting to the basket from the wing. He has the athleticism to dominate in that role. 4) Stan and Devin have to be bulldogs defensively. These guys need to help create a lot of turnovers for us. Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.
I disagree with the yogi part we definitely still need him to look for his shots. He's a scorer while saying that I agree he definitely needs to be able to take care of the ball and make smart passes Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Can Indiana be a consistent winner under Coach Crean?
Not one bad year. 4 out of six years saw no postseason play. Next season isnt looking so hot either (predicted 9th) . The last 4 weeks of the 2012 season was pretty bad too.
Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Can Indiana be a consistent winner under Coach Crean?

Not one coach would have made the postseason in his first 3 years. Kyle taber was his only players for Christ sake Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Can Indiana be a consistent winner under Coach Crean?
I can not believe that this question was even asked on here. They didn't like him at Marquett [or how ever you spell that school], in fact i have read where there was some of their fans who couldn't even believe he was hired at Indiana. It will be a bad season every year CTC is at Indiana so just get use to it.
I bet nobody was saying this when we beat Kentucky... Or when we were ranked number 1 or top 5 the whole year.. Or when we won an outright big ten championship one bad year suddenly creams a terrible coach took us from worst to first in four years then had a down year after losing 4 starters Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    my 2015 recruiting wish list
I would love that too. That actually could happen. I would hate to miss Caleb, but If we get Thon consider me happy. Shake and Juwan are good kids, and great players on the upswing by all accounts.
I also like Milton and Morgan because I feel like they will be 3 or 4 year players instead of one and dones Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

It's 2008, a look into the Crystal Ball
There are two schools of thought on that. Yours is one. The other is. Lets cut the cord as soon as we can, so we might actually be able to start the healing earlier. It was kinda the same thing when MD was the coach. He might very well have made a good coach at IU But was anybody really willing to wait around for him to learn on the job. I think that is whats so frustrating to me about TC. If I actually saw any signs that the program was gonna get any better from a coaching philosophy standpoint, I might be inclined to wait a while. But when I see the same things happening over and over again. i.e. Yogi being allowed to drive to the basket and leave his feet and try to find a pass in the air, or being able to actually draw up a play off an in bounds that will score. Those are things that even high school coaches can do. Yet our esteemed leader can not. Those kinds of things drive me and I am sure a lot of others crazy! All you have to do is coach good fundamental basketball. That's what IU fans are used to. That's what IU fans should expect! IMO
That's fair but I don't see Crean going anywhere unless he has a couple more bad years Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

It's 2008, a look into the Crystal Ball

I'm tired of everybody complaining about Crean. There's nothing we can do about it so why not support him while he's here. I personally am a supporter of Crean although I will admit he has made a few questionable in game decisions. I think it will only make it worse for our team if we don't support the head coach though Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

(2014) C Jeremiah April to IU
I agree with this. I think the problem with Peter at this point is he just wasn't able to develop due to injuries for long periods of time when nothing would be more important than game time. I am not saying Pete would have been All-B1G but pointing to him as reasoning for not liking this kid is just wrong. Pete didn't play for 2 years in high school as an international kid because of injury. Then missed most of his Frosh year due to injury. That is too much time missed for a kid who had been in the US essentially to play US ball starting in high school. These kids may end up on a similar career path, but they have nothing in common.
Also the suspension hurt his development along with pereas. They didn't get to get used to the college level by playing the early game they had to start around big ten time Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I'd like to see us add the guy from USC. Would be great to have experience and another scorer. Plus it would give us another scholarship for 2015 Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
