Crean found success giving Hartman significant minutes at the 5. It's not ideal, but I'm not worried about Crean figuring something out there. -
OFFICIAL: Ferrell returns for Senior Season

Larkin was also a more natural PG and better defender. Larkin is also struggling in the NBA, which won't help Yogi's case Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I don't expect to get Thon, but I think we've got a good shot at Bryant. Crean also got Luke Fischer who looks like he's going to be pretty good and was a top 50 recruit. If he didn't get homesick he would have been an integral part of this year's team. Hanner was also a top 50 recruit. He just hasn't developed as expected. Counting Hollowell, Crean has signed 5 top 50 big men in the last 4 years. He just didn't get a big man last year because he was expecting to have Fischer and Devin Davis. He didn't realize he'd need one until January, and by then it was too late Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Crean had 2 bigs go in the lottery the last 2 years and is on the verge of landing another 5 star. His inability to recruit big men is overblown. Vonleh was not developed enough to be featured on offense. There's a reason he can't see the court in the NBA. He's still very raw. Zeller was featured though because he was much more skilled. (2015) JUCO PF Ray Kasongo
Hillsdale87 replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
The guys may be close to him, but having these offers makes him sound extremely attractive: "Kasongo's offers so far are UCLA, Arizona, NC State, Cal, Stanford, DePaul and tons of JUCOs. He has quite a bit of interest from Kentucky, Ohio State, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Wright State, and many more." -
He's definitely small, but didn't GR III end up playing the 4 for Michigan this year? And that seemed to work out ok for them. DD is certainly not the same kind of talent that Robinson is, but he's more physical on the low block and can be a better defender. He can play the 4 for IU against most teams.

How do scholarships work with transfers and redshirts? For instance, if we pick up Anderson and Priller redshirts, do they still count against our scholarships for this year?

He's spending a lot of time playing ball at HPER. Plays with about the same intensity he had this season

Coaches can use that in recruiting, but the fact that those guys are lottery picks after IU should be a fine counterargument
