Not just a miss. Not even close. He and TJD both missed bunnies to close the half Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

His inability to shoot is a problem. He can still be productive in stretches, but it is an issue when he's relied on like he is today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Trey's free throw routine is terrible. He doesn't even really get the ball set in his hand before he starts going up. All 3 of his free throws today have been wide right. One got a fortunate bounce and went in Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I love TJD. He's awesome. But it's hard not to watch him and think he should even be so much better. He hasn't really expanded his game since freshman year. He's still one of the best players in college basketball, but with a right hand and a decent mid-range shot, he could be player of the year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    IUBB @ Maryland - 01/29/22 @ 2:30 on Fox-TV

At the start of the season he looked like he thought he was still the best player on a terrible team who needed to try to do everything. Playing within himself now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Our double teams are a disaster. Guaranteed wide open look for Michigan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. It was a week of breaking painful sports streaks for me. Awesome to get an IU win, and I'm a Bengals fan, so my 8 year old son and I both witnessed our first Bengals playoff win Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. He's definitely their best NBA prospect. Guys like Edwards and Swanigan recently were probably better college players, but Ivey translates to the NBA so much better
  19. A couple thoughts on the win last night... -There's been a lot of discussion about what a disaster this team would be without TJD. We obviously need him, but last night showed that other guys can step up, and certainly provide a lot of hope for next year when he's gone. -Obviously an incredible game by Rob. His attacking mentality was great, and hopefully he can keep it up. One of my favorite plays from him was actually a 3 that he missed. He took a pretty terrible long 3 in the first half that didn't go in. Not a good shot, but it was a great sign for Rob because he's so cautious. I'd rather see him mess up from overconfidence than turtle and be conservative. When he and Devonte were here, they were such polar opposites, and if you could have just combined them, it would have been a very good player. Phinisee getting a little bit of Devonte's swagger would be huge if he can keep it up. Also, the 2 3s he took at the end were catch and shoot on the move. I'm not sure I've seen him ever take a 3 off the catch unless his feet were set, and he did it twice in a row. Again, a great sign of his confidence. His form is good, but he's always thinking, which leads to aiming instead of shooting. There was none of that last night -The depth really showed up and showed we can handle any type of team. Outside of TJD, no superstars, but a lot of guys that can fill different roles, and all bust their butts. We've got size if we need it, defensive lockdown guys if we need that, shooters if we need that. -XJ takes a lot of crap, and much of it is fair. But he really took over at points last night. It's probably too much to expect since he's a senior at this point, but if he can learn to pick his spots, it would be huge. It felt like he could get into the lane at will last night and stress the defense. He's used to playing on terrible Pitt teams where he had to do too much. He's playing with more talent here, so hopefully he's able to shift that mindset and understand that he doesn't have to do it all.
  20. I still like playing those guys against most teams, but Purdue is not a good matchup for them. We seemed to be able to attack them with defense and getting into the lane, which is not their specialty. That's why it's nice to have depth and guys that can come in and do that. Woodson showed a willingness to stick with what was working. The team can be malleable, and that gives us a chance to beat anybody. Kopp's and Stewart's ability to spread the floor will still be valuable against many teams. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. How is that flagrant?! He fell badly, but it was just awkward contact. Not a hard hit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Feels like XJ can get to the hoop at will tonight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I don't get why X is sitting so long. He and Rob have basically all our points. Why not play them together? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
