This ^ How big of a clown would that KState kid have looked stealing the ball, making a layup, and jogging back down the court just before the buzzer during a 20 point beat down? The last-word would have been the numbers on the scoreboard.

Could be worse.. IU could be Maryland who has been top 15-ish all season and looks to have about 50% capacity at every game.

I'd say I'll be back on this topic when the kid is in candy stripes in a couple years... But I know how certain folks on the board feel about people boasting about being right the whole time.

In the article it specifically mentions him playing basketball at a very high level, and the fact that suitors like Purdue and Indiana are involved, along with Louisville. Then it says they would ALSO be watching him work out in person if not for baseball. To me, there is obviously some interest. That's all I'm saying. Meanwhile, this LB kid dominated him and being talked about like he should be playing at a community college.

Any reaction to LB dominating Colson Montgomery (looks from Butler, IU, Purdue, and Louisville)? Doesn't move the needle?

Could the font be any bigger? You're acting like Brown is a complete joke. I don't get it. He completely dominated Colson Montgomery earlier in the season, and that kid is getting D1 looks, including Indiana, Purdue, Butler, and Louisville.

Ok so I'd say he checked one of two boxes. Played the best competition, but maybe didn't do a lot to get attention. How not? Didn't we just say that he played for the Platinum Indy Elite 2021 team? So right there, he must have played against the top talent. Right?

Used to root for Knight at Texas Tech.. Even have a Red Raiders shirt that says "He's Back" on the back from when Knight was hired. Now I root for IU and the building to collapse at all other games, exclusively.

Not many 7'0 athletic big men who can jump out of the gym out on the 'waiver wire'. I keep thinking about less-regarded in state players who have come back to hurt IU like Bryant McIntosh. Averaged like 14ppg his senior season. Went on to be a VERY productive player for NW for 4 seasons. Size-wise was about the same as LB, but he was high bball IQ, could shoot, and facilitate. 2nd team all-B1G in 2017. Could have been a major asset. Ranked 214 by 247sports coming out of High School so I'm sure he didn't get a real look. I mean is Greensburg a bball powerhouse? Looks like they are maybe top 50 in the state? Where did McIntosh play his AAU ball? Was he playing against D1 guards all summer?

Eh.. If EVERYONE on scholarship currently stays through 2021-2022, there would be 3-4 open scholarships. I'd bet 1-2 leave. There should be room.

Does anyone know if IU has reached out to LB? Last time I checked, his school wasn't big enough, he wasn't playing good enough competition, and needed to put on muscle. Just saw that he put up 54 the other night and shooting about 40% from 3. Must be doing something right.

Not so shocking stat: Sharp shooting Guard Damezi Anderson is 15 of 63 from 3 in an IU uniform.

Another game, another atrocious shooting night filled with unforced errors and horrible turnovers at the worst possible times.

Were any of the students even alive the last time Knight coached IU? Will be awesome to see him, but I wonder how much the current students know/care about The General. He was before their time.

Totally disagree. It was highly publicized by a certain Moderator on this board that I didn't care for the CAM hiring at all. But who in their right mind would root against the program just to say they were right about a coach? That seems far fetched.

Totally agree, which is why I wish people like you and Mr. Moderator would stop taking my ONE tongue-in-cheek comment that is no different than what Josh is saying, and turning it into a big thing.
