How's Crean Feel?

All of Indiana is under distraught after the recent mishaps taken place by current IU basketball players. Is Crean to blame? Or is this just a simple act of stupidity and maturity? Do you think Crean feels some pressure from all this "hooplah"? People say Crean is "not a leader" or "has no discipline". Former players see it differently. Such as Victor Oladipo. Former Indiana stand out says "Us former players would not come back as often as we do if that was the case". He later went on to state "Coach Crean is a great coach and human being. The players currently there just need to get there priorities right and realize they are playing for something way bigger than themselves". Thought on how you think Crean might feel after all the sudden criticism?

    Yogi Speaks Out

What makes me upset is Troy Williams. Last years talk was that he could be the next Oladipo. He for sure has the athletic ability. Well all know Oladipo was not a strong shooter his first two years. But he continued to get better an put the time in at the gym. He worked with Crean and staff and became the number two pick in the draft. All the players have the two. I imagine that any division 1 basketball players dream is to make it to the NBA. Well only they can do it. They have the tools. It's wether they have the drive to do it.

    Yogi Speaks Out

I agree, I don't think the players understand what it means to wear the candy stripes and honor one the NCAA most historic teams. Most high school kids would give anything to have what these boys have. Being a part of IU Basketball is a privilege. They should be honored to be apart of it. Then understand that you have to act as an adult. Yes, that means you have to count yourself out of being apart of college parties and such. Take your down time am either put it into academics or working out on your own.

    Yogi Speaks Out

What does everyone think about Yogi's statement yesterday? Stating "it has nothing to do with the coaching staff. The coaching staff is great. They get us ready for each game, prepare us as much as they can." He also stated "I feel like it's with the team. We don't hold each other accountable". I wanna know what you think as fans of Indiana Basketball.

    Jaquan Lyle Recent Tweet

I think if we could add Jaquan it would give Yogi a break at the point when needed. Considering Jaquan is a combo guard.

Some guy on ESPN was kind of dissing Crean tonight

That's true. Quick ball reversal will lead to open spots on the floor. Which will allow us to get good shots. I Bleed Crimson!

Who would you hire to replace CTC?

Who would you hire to replace CTC?

I know this is unrealistic but I think a coach like brad Stevens would be awesome! A X's and O's type of guy. He always used statistics to his advantage. He always made his team believe they could do it. He would break down each game statically and be like guys "if you would have limited them to three less shot or three less rebounds that game would have been ours" he fired his team up and really stressed defense. Hence why they played in those two championship games I Bleed Crimson!
When I think of shooters, I don't think of shooting percentage; incorporates too many inside shot-makers. I think of "you better not leave him open!" My list: 1) Steve Alford 2) Matt Roth 3) Brian Evans 4) Randy Wittman 5) Jay Edwards 6) Jordan Hulls 7) Jimmy Rayl 8) Christian Watford 9) Ted Kitchel 10) Kyle Hornsby 11) Pat Graham 12) Todd Leary Honorable mention: Tijan Jobe Left off of list because they only played one year, but would've ranked high: Eric Gordon, pre-injury Maurice Creek
Very true. That's a solid list! I Bleed Crimson!

    One warning

Just put your self in a room with people that are slower than you. You try to stand in front of those people or even kids and say that word to them. Call them that right to their faces. Then walk out and see if u can live with guilty feeling that you just put down people who can't help their condition. Because if you can then you need help my friend. Any good hearted people take into consideration of other people's feelings. Reading some of this makes me sick. You wanna call yourself a good person? Put yourself in that scenario and think of how you would feel. I Bleed Crimson!

Best Pure Shooters All-Time @ IU

I was reading that most IU analyst put Matt Roth at the top if not the best three point shooter at IU. Based off statistics of course. I Bleed Crimson!

Although Alford three point % I'd higher I'm gonna argue that it's Cheaney. I got to looking into it and Cheaney only missed 702 shots his whole career at IU. His three point percentage is not as high as Hulls or Alford but his overall field goal percentage is well over hulls. He shot almost 56% all time at IU with Alford in second at 53%. I Bleed Crimson!
