    Thanks. I figured there had to be something in writing to protect both sides at least for the year the scholarship was assigned.

I am asking : If a person comes here and gets "injured"( whether that injury is real or not...doesn't really matter) does the school have an obligation to keep that scholarship available to that player? It seems we always have 1 or two transfers that get hurt within the first few weeks of getting here and never plays, but is able to take the scholarship. If the coach gets rid of him the next year then it is frowned upon as if he is "creaning". I just think a trend could start by players that are good D2 or JC players finding a better school that is in a bind and get on...they just ride the bench enough to get a degree from a school they normally wouldn't or shouldn't have....the question is:   Is the school obligated to honor these scholarships throught he whole semester and or the full season, I know the next year they are not. But people seem to look down on the coach if he doesnt renew the scholarship...why pay for a scholarship for someone to just be here.   Again I am not being mean, I just want to know what the rule is? Say for instance if April doesn't or will not play at all this year, do the we have to pay for a scholarship for him though both semesters or can he be released?

I don't mean this in a bad way ...and it is not directed at anyone. But what keeps someone at a junior college or even a Div2 school from taking a scholarship just to get a better degree (and again not accusing anyone) but "fake" an injury just to have a scholarship to a way better school/degree? Its shady I know, but is there a clause that a school has that does not sound like they are being an arsehole by stating if you dont play within a certain amount of time you could be cut without people crying foul?

Thank you....I did a decade for this counrty in a uniform, its our job as patriots/citizens to protect this country out of uniform as well. And this starts with everyone to stand true to their oaths and help protect our Constitution no matter what their political parties say or do. WE KNOW WHAT FREEDOM IS...do not let them take it from us....do NOT let our blood be spilled for nothing. On SAR flight duty off the coast of Southern California...had to come back to the hanger to get a breifing...LAX had a warning we had to gear up for...9 days later, had to go for a little trip in the mountains about 8000 miles away for several months.....not fun times, for various of reasons....
