  If there is anything that is wrong with college basketball it is not a fan being realistic about where the program is.  Is BaltimoreHoosier in Cook Hall telling the players to settle?

Also notice an opponent of ours, SMU, who many laughed at Crean for calling marquee is number 11.  They are followed by another IU opponent Louisville at 12.  If IU gets a top 25 team in the Challenge we will be scheduled to play 28% of the teams on this list.

Also just because you don't view the sky as falling and 2012-13 as a failure doesn't make you a Crean supporter or loyalist. Makes you more of a realist and not such a group of guys in the Barber Shop talking about hickory high. Back to back sweet 16s for first time in 19 years. That is an accomplishment. I don't care what your expectations were those players did accomplish something. They represented the university and exemplified what Indiana basketball players should be. And guess what? They were all brought in and developed by Tom Crean.   Agree with your take I was being sarcastic since if winning and going to the tournament were his goals staying at IU was his better option.  With the benefit of hindsight he did both of those at GWU but no way anyone would've taken that bet last April when he transferred that GWU would have a better season than IU.    I think the playing time and close to home aspect was the reason not so he could win and go to tournament.

  So he left a team who'd been to the sweet 16 for two straight years that was about to be preseason top 25 for a team that went 13-17 the year prior and hadn't made the tourney since 2006-07?  Makes total sense now
