  1. Was that bracket before or after Xavier/WF losses?

So of the 68 spots: 11 Automatic Qualifiers 27 Locks 21 Remaining AQ's (hopefully large overlap between locks and remaining AQ's) 31 Bubble Teams (will be overlap between this and reaming AQ's)

Anybody remember why Scruggs went to Xavier instead of IU?

If IU wins tomorrow, they really should be ahead of Wake Forest and SMU (if they lose to Memphis is conference semi's).

I'm hoping IU moves ahead of them in NET. IU's worst loss to Rutgers is no where near as bad as losing to a 20 loss BC team.

I appreciate the explanation, I just think that rationale if flawed and irrelevant if you play in a great conference. If the BIG played like the ACC this year, then I would get IU being punished for not challenging themselves out of conference.

Also, why is Notre Dame ahead of IU? IU has analytics advantage (Net rankings 44 vs. 50, KP 44 vs. 48), tougher strength of schedule, and a lot less Q3/Q4 games than Notre Dame (13 vs. 18). IU is 6-11 in Q1/Q2 and ND is 4-8 in Q1/Q2, so maybe that's a wash along with both teams sharing a Q3 loss.

I still don't grasp why non conference schedule mattes that much for a power 5 team with a top 50 overall sos. The non conference SOS should be a bigger factor for teams like SMU, VCU, Dayton, etc.

Also, if IU wins against Michigan and Illinois, the focus really should be shifting toward winning BTT more than worrying about making tourney.

If some of these things happen, 1 win would definitely do it: Butler beats Xavier Boston College beats Wake Forest SMU loses their 1st game (probably Wichita State) Baylor beats Oklahoma, Davidson wins A-10 VCU and/or Dayton underachieve in A-10 tournament North Texas wins CUSA tournament No crazy winners win the B10, SEC, ACC, P12, B12, Big East

(2022) PG Adou Thiero to Kentucky

I thought JHS was basically guaranteed to be the starting pg/primary ball handler going into next year, which would make X a bad fit with him. Pack's ability to shoot from deep and lower assist/ft rate would make him a better complement to JHS.

No scholarship offer yet. I wonder how many guard leaving that's dependent on. I see 2-3 guards leaving IU this year, so I think he'll get an offer on his official visit.
  13. IMO, IU could get in with 1 more win and IU would get in with 2 more wins.

Sounds good to me. I didn't think Race would be able to play the 5 full time, but the potential for 5 capable shooters on the floor is intriguing. Also, hope to see Duncomb on the floor more.

He said he hasn't decided. But would you prefer Race to come back for 1 year or have Geronimo for 3 more years? Obviously, would love to have both, but I do wonder if playing time is a concern for Geronimo.

Goodman on the Hoosier Hysterics Podcast

Why does it matter if Glass in a legal/regulatory role? He's probably volunteering his time (or working for cheap) and it's not like he's deciding the coach or who gets recruited to IU. I'm aware this fund is intended for all sports, but I hope the vast majority of it goes to IU men's and women's hoops.

Doesn't sound like Galloway's playing, but interesting to see those results.

The phrasing was agreed to part ways, so they probably reached a settlement on the buyout.

I do hope Buckner isn't on BOT, when IU is hiring a new coach.

Wouldn't it be best for Loyola to just win the MVC straight up? I know IU's probably going to fail to win the 1 game they need and should've won already to make the tournament, but no one else from the MVC has an opportunity to be an at large bid outside of Loyola.

For IU's tourney dreams pulling for Murray St. and Loyola.
