Coach Martin should be given a lot of credit for getting TB to visit IU even if we don't get him. I hope CTC and Glass don't let him get away like KJ. Coach Martin has only been at IU a few months and he got Holt and now a top 35 player to visit!

Saw Drake on ESPNU at Big Blue Madness. At one point I was considering majoring in Music at IU, so I like some songs from may kinds of Music including some of Drake's (Hip Hop). Only the clean versions though! Really miss Dave Baker's Jazz concert's at the MAC.

Yep. I saw Zimmerman behind the bench last night for UK's Big Blue Madness. At least CTC and Shooter tried to get him to IU and had a nice photo with him! Ha!

Saw JL play against Washington with Cody Zeller. Lyle was just a Freshman. I believe CZ was a Sr. and committed to IU. JL almost brought BB back for the win, but CZ was just too much. If CTC does bring JL on board, I just hope he's not another Funderburke! LOL! IIRC, however Funderburke was a good student. BTW, Cody displayed a nice jumpshot in that game.

Talk about baptism by fire! 1st collegiate game against a highly ranked MSU team! I hope he does well.

Based on the record to this point even with Sudfeld I didn't expect a bowl game this year, but with the aforementioned preconference 2015 schedule, I'm hopeful for next year. Unfortunately being in the East division with all of those football factories makes it very difficult.

IIRC, some of the mail JB received when he was initially committed to IU, was from Michigan State.

The report I saw indicated it is his left shoulder.

If we don't get Shake I hope that if CTC uses the scholly, which he probably will, he doesn't settle for a less talented player just to fill the scholly.

Comcast has been terrible for us and we switched to WOW and they have been very good to this point.

Thought so. When I was at IU my roommate was from South Bend Adams and he told me about Webb. That must have been a very good New Albany team that beat Adams.

Was that when they beat South Bend Adams with Jim Webb?

As mentioned above, I think he will go to the NFL draft after this season. His stock should be high and the risk of injury IMHO is too great to come back next year. Running backs take a pounding, often from guys that significantly outweigh them.

That doesn't seem like a formula for success to me. Hopefully CTC can get more stability in the program and turn this thing around.

Interesting thoughts on Shake and his consideration of being close to home. I can understand that. However, IIRC CZ mentioned that also and said that he did not have much time to go home, even though Washington is just over an hour (approximately) from Bloomington, because he was so busy while at IU. CZ doesn't have younger siblings and has both Mom and Dad, so that may be a factor as I understand Shake's Dad has unfortunately passed. Playing high-major basketball is a big commitment at IU and I would think at OU as well. Maybe he and his family would feel more comfortable if he was closer to home, even if he was very busy at OU and couldn't get home much. I'm sure he'll make the right decision for him and his family.

Didn't see much of the game, but as I was very disappointed and down on CKW and the new DC last week, I want to give them (and the team) credit for this big win today!
