I personally would be happy to get Kasongo and would rather roll the dice on getting a better player in 2015 than Holt. If we are winning again, Crean should be able to land some more studs starting with 2015.

I don't get why we would take both. How do you over sign when fall semester starts soon. We would have to get rid of someone on the team right?

Can we get some more video of Kasongo? The one vid he looks like he is playing against a bunch of less talented kids. I am now on board with taking him, just cautiously optimistic due to his handler.

He might take April's Job.

I just hope we don't lose Morgan and or Shake over Kasongo and or Holt.  I would rather have Morgan!

As nervous as I am about Bender being involved, I do see Kasongo as an upgrade to what we have available behind Perea. I also wonder if he isn't actually better than Lee from Temple and the seven footer Thompson from Virginia Tech who has to sit out this season at OSU. This kid may also be better than some of the other players we missed out on earlier. The impressive stats to me are the ones against Cliff Alexander and Jahil Okafor last year.

Looks pretty short to play the 4. We already have that version with Devin Davis.

IMO if we take guys like Priller and April and we need quality bigs, we shouldn't be taking on anymore projects. I would rather have Morgan, Bryant, and Marshall next year. And how do we have enough scholarships available for Kasongo anyway? We lost Sheehey, Vonley, Fischer, Etherington, and Jurkin. Who am I missing? We have JBJ, Rojo, Max, April, and Priller. I also forgot Z from Illinois st.

I want more skill at the power forward position. This guy probably fits the bill. I just don't like the class size and showing kids the door after this season to make room for next year's class

Troy was my favorite player last year and he is my favorite this year! I don't like to lose, but these games are as preseason as your going to get.  We will be fine.. We need defense and more defense!

Not one stands out above the rest for me.  If I was to pick one for IU it would have been Pitino or Hoeiberg.

Well that sucks!   Two bigs that probably need the trip the most.

I like Crean ' s energy, relentless recruiting, and ability to find flying under the radar players, but he needs to get some pure talent in the upcoming years. Right now I see us losing them to just about everybody. It's also hard watching KJ getting it done at UL.

Wow!   Also, will Izzo lay off going after the same recruits we do?  I mean, dam.. it's every one we go after!

Stars are given by the best talent evaluators in the world. If Ohio St, Michigan St, and so on are landing them while we have to settle for left overs, we will not compete for titles of any sort. We do have some stars on this year's team, but if we don't continue to land more of the Yogi, JBJ and Troys of the world, we will be middle of the road at best.

A good commit in the top 100 would cheer me up! :)
