Reading this thread makes me believe that some of these posters are either related to Crean in some way, or really do not know basketball.

Sure we may lose players if Crean leaves, but we'd be gaining a more knowledgeable coach, so the short term may not be pretty, but the long term far outweighs all that. -

Yep, just what I was thinking. If Crean leaves for another job it doesn't look like he was forced out, because the AD supported him...and that will encourage potential coaches that IU may want to replace Crean. -
