Well, that's encouraging. I remember Marquette was glad Crean left. Archie wasn't my first choice, or even my second or third, but I will support him, and hope he brings IU basketball back to glory.

Meh, I'm glad I didn't get my hopes up for Donovan, and I do think Archie is better than Crean, and I will support him, but he was maybe 5th on my wish list, and I have my doubts that he was IU's first choice.

Part of what concerns Insider was Hickory mentioning Archie as the possible choice, but I took it as Hickory just naming off some of the rumored candidates.

Once you get over Billy D, and open up your mind to other coaches, it really is zen-like, especially when you consider that most possibilities are improvements over Crean.

I've been members to both boards for several years, they each have something in common, passionate IU fans, knowledgeable discussion, and a lot of humor.

Hickory has spoken, says search is ongoing, probably won't be announced until mid to late next week. May go longer if their choice is still coaching.
