I live near South Bend, and see all the highlights of Anderson's games on the news, I'm glad we're getting this kid. I think the season that Riley is having this year can be contributed to Damezi's leadership and talent.

IU fought back from an early deficit on the road to win despite some questionable officiating. Rob Johnson was clutch, glad for the kid.

Agreed. I'm sure Romeo doesn't want it to get out until it's official...and he may not have made his decision yet.

Maybe if he comes to IU , and leads them to a National Championship, but it will be hard for him to overtake someone like Damon if he is one and done without a championship, or if he chooses to go to Vamdy or Kansas.

I understand the want to look forward to next season, but we still have a lot of this season to play, and just had a great road win.

Proud of the team on a good win, if they would have played with the same effort against Wisconsin we would have won that game, too.

If you mean won't be too far behind as being in the spring, then you may be right, because he's waiting until spring to announce.

I'm not concerned at all, it will take time to get players and coach all on the same page, and a loss like last night helps expedite that. One thing I'm hopeful for is where Crean's teams would start out the season roaring only to fizzle later in the season, I'm expecting Archie to have the team playing their best basketball come tourney time.

However, we're talking about a 17/18 year old, so things can change on a dime.

I remember when I first heard of Romeo when he was a freshman i knew even though Langford is from Indiana that with Tom Crean as IU's coach that we probably would only get token interest, and lose out for his services. Now with Archie as IU's coach it looks like we legitimately have a chance to land him, we still may not, but our chances are better with Archie than Crean, and for that I'm both thankful and hopeful.
