I meant high as in betting odds. Like 1,000:1
-
They have to beat: Kansas Texas UNC UCLA Louisville Florida twice How are those odds to go undefeated not astronomical?
-
The odds of them winning every game are very very high. The odds they win by 10 or more each time? 100,000:1...minimum. That would be the most dominating season of any college sport ever

Should we really care about players being "Creaned"?

I'm all about debate and I dislike the April and Priller additions as well. But we have literally beaten this horse to death, resurrected it several times, and beaten it again. First off, there is no "practice squad" there is only "walk on players." So if you're suggesting we keep scholarships open and just add walk on kids from HPER, you better pray no one gets injured. Priller and April could absolutely school any kid in the HPER or anywhere else on campus. -
Interesting that it's not just coach mentioning Ziesloft now. The players have bought in as well. That's HUGE

Ummmm...Robert Johnson and James Blackmon please pick up a white courtesy phone immediately.

All the time they have is for two questions? How many will Bo be able to answer before they cut him off

Another great thread derailed. Congrats everyone. At least we are consistent. -

Not to sound like an ass, but I'm going to. McCarthy was a huge reason I left as well. He's so smug and when he's right, you know about it. When he's wrong, it never happened. -

There were coaches in the HPER building in 2008 before Finklemeier joined up. Not joking. That's how bleak it was. -

That's depressing. I left that board because it was becoming Peegs -

Welp, we kinda saw this coming. Good luck Shake. Let's pray this weekend goes extremely well for Bryant -
If I were to ask him one question it would be this: You rushed the court after we beat UK. You talked extensively about your excitement for Indiana. What changed? I would ask Trey Lyles the same question but we all know the answer. The apple didn't fall far from the tree in that family. At least Trey can actually prove he played at UK

I never had a chance to cheat. Most of my exams, even Finite and Calculus, were blue book exams. The exams I could have cheated on were so in depth that writing the answers on my hands would have been more trouble than actually learning it.

But is it the Mizzou news that's scaring them off? How do people even get wind of these rumors. I really want to know the behind the scenes of recruiting. Which AAU coach gives up dirt and why. Which players talk to people. How reliable the sources are. It's crazy to me that this is a job. Where do I apply

It seems to me that a lot of journalists aren't huge fans of Crean. Whether it's his somewhat abrasive attitude towards certain questions or his lack of answers, it just seems odd. Dopirak and him butted heads every single press conference. Crean seems like a guy who basically throws out the idea "I know what's best and you don't see the behind the scenes." Not really a great trait with the media. Watching a Crean press conference is a huge waste of time because his answers are interchangeable depending on whether we win or lose and by how much. -

Couldn't agree more. However, you can't complain about the program on one hand and then complain we should honor scholarships on the other. Is it right? No. But if we are going to start winning we all know who we need to get there. I hope these young men rpove me wrong, but it isn't looking good. -
Riddle me this: why is everyone making their choices on the Crystal Ball today when the kid hasn't visited Indiana yet and isn't signing until spring? What indication, other than the Mizzou rumors, would trigger this?
-
That would be all well and good if he truly and passionately wanted to go here. With his previous actions, it doesn't seem to be the case. Someone will pick him up on full scholarship
-
I don't like where this is heading. Let's get back on topic. I want more details about him enrolling in Spring and how this would work.

IU is far reaching that's for sure. I'll never forget being in Stratford up Avon (birthplace and home of Shakespeare). I was wearing an IU shirt on this tour and some guy yelled across the house as the tour guide was explaining where Shakespeare sneezed or something "HOOOOOSIERS!" The Dutch tourists had no idea what was going on. We met up outside. He graduated in '79 and saw us win a National Championship. This was right before Crean arrived. He was vacationing with his wife on a year long cruise. Yes, a cruise that you stay on for 12 months that goes to every continent. When I asked his name to shake his hand before leaving he said "the bastard of 3rd street." Awesome.
