He’s the worst team defensive player I have seen. He looks to be a huge recruiting miss. Stiff, unathletic, can’t handle the ball. But the defense is inexcusable.

Hope he stays more than one year so we get to thump him on the court.

I like what I see from the coaching staff so far. Calling sets at crucial times to get the ball inside. Players seem to get more run for the most part, substitutions and lineups make sense. It's ridiculous that this stands out, but we have seen some real headscratchers over the last decade plus. Defense has been good to great early in games and fades late. Hopefully that improves with getting into game shape and getting more time together. It's real defense, not a gimmick. It's passing the smell test, which is a relief. It's way early though and the toilet always looks cleaner after you flush.

During the game, color guy said It looked like his form was "adjusting for the wind". Thought that was pretty accurate and hilarious.

Keeping players with glaring flaws, cause they want to be here, could contribute to why we suck right now. Better to mentor a kid into a better situation, than blowing smoke up his @$$ about playing time that will never come.
