I AM IN FULL AGREEMENT WITH "SCHOOSIER". CTC TIME RAN OUT TWO YEARS AGO WITH CODY AND A NUMBER 1 RANKING WITH A GREAT CHANCE TO WIN IT ALL. CTC IS JUST NOT A GOOD DECISION MAKER WHEN IT COMES TO SUBSTITUTIONS. HE IS BAD FOR INDIANA UNIVERSITY AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.

6'4" Guard Nick Zeisloft joins Hoosiers
welder332 replied to Stuhoo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
This is exactly why this up coming year is going to be horrible. When you have to think like this with a bunch of nobody's. Fire CTC now! -
Looks like Paul George will be hooping with the hoosiers tmrw.

Fire Tom Crean and do it NOW!!! Thank you. -
Can Indiana be a consistent winner under Coach Crean?
welder332 replied to Hoosier Cowboy's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I can not believe that this question was even asked on here. They didn't like him at Marquett [or how ever you spell that school], in fact i have read where there was some of their fans who couldn't even believe he was hired at Indiana. It will be a bad season every year CTC is at Indiana so just get use to it. -
Eron Gordon article - Indy Star - :(
welder332 replied to HoosierCoop's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I agree with the Hoosier Cowboy, about CTC and his recruiting. This team is in a Ditch and wont get out of it till CTC is gone. All I hear is how great of a recruiter he is. He aint got any big names coming in. JBJ made his mind up that he wanted to play where his heart is INDIANA and I say thats the way it should be. If Eron Gordon wants to play for another school, I say go to it. The tradition of Indiana Basketball was that kids wanted to play for IU. Now a days you have to beg them or in some cases pay them-Kentucky. Last but not least CTC needs to go and he knows it. Tell me I am bashing him, well your right because I have had enough of him, $3.2 million enough! -
Speaking of missing out on Robert Carter, I hope CTC doesn't miss out on the Swanigan kid from Ft. Wayne.

Cuonzo takes CA job, 3 big commits could leave
welder332 replied to Hwy 1's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Scohutch, why doesn't anyone understand that no guys that are decent players are going to come to IU, until they throw CTC out. They keep talking about this player and that player and the truth is no good players are coming. -
So what do you guys think, grab Maten and Cunningham and go to war next year?
welder332 replied to NotTheReal HoosierHoopster's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
A new topic if you please. Trevor Thompson from Indianapolis attending VC is leaving for another school. He is 7 ft. and i ask why hasnt CTC tried to get him? He is a local kid and a big kid. -

welder332 replied to NotTheReal HoosierHoopster's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I respect your comment, but CTC really didnt have anything to do with James Blackmon. If i remember correctly when James announced on ESPN, he said he wanted to play where HIS heart was-at Indiana. So he was doomed to come to IU reguardless of what CTC wanted. Look at the ones CTC has let get away-Trey Lyles, Jaquan Lyle, Trevon Bluiett, and others. Thanks Welder. -

welder332 replied to NotTheReal HoosierHoopster's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I dont understand some of you people on here, by talking about kids, then you say lets get him or him. At this point CTC cant recruit a two legged pig to play. CTC is dead on the recruiting trail. Nobody wants to play for him. -
Has everybody heard the latest? Buzz Williams is leaving Marquette and maybe just maybe Marquette will make CTC an offer to come back and coach for them. Wow this is very welcome news for all Indiana fans. Or maybe they don't want him either-well lets hope so. Tom Crean going back to Marquette, sounds good.
-
Oh my gosh this is wonderful news for all IU fans. Maybe just maybe CTC will go back to Marquette, or would they want him. Well any way I hope so because he aint wanted at Bloomington. Please Marquette come and make CTC an offer. Please!!!

Ok, you said call you crazy-your crazy and a dreamer. In fact you sound just like CTC. Just swallow it-CTC got to go!

2011-12, 2012-13 all we have? Can it ever happen again?
welder332 replied to SWEETLEMONbrown's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
this team has so many problems to address. and yes yogi is a ball hog and plays out of control. this is the example of what kind of team we will have as long as CTC is there. CTC needs to go NOW or every year he gets to stay is going to be a year wasted. also he claps his hands to much [alias clappy] and drinks to much ice tea on the side lines. -
Could this season be a good thing?
welder332 replied to coonhounds's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
No, i disagree with this line of thought completely. Some of you people on here just dont get-CTC is a horrible coach, he is in over his head. He obviously is going to fight for his job , after all he earns $3.2 million dollars a year. Wouldnt you want to keep that job. He has ruined this year and I hope he doesnt ruin James Blackmon. -
Who would you hire to replace CTC?
welder332 replied to KelleyHoosh's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
You have spoken for me also. I feel the very same way as you. Thanks!! -
All this garbage about shouldnt do this and shouldnt say that is just idle talk. The bottom line is CTC and Fred Glass should both leave or be fired. CTC is a good PR person but he aint NO IU coach. And I dont think he is all that good of a recruiter. Without mentioning any of the players, look at what he has recruited. CTC takes credit for certain ones like James Blackmon for instance and James annouced he was attending IU because that was where his heart was. And there are others. CTC needs to go, in his interviews he is lost for words and sounds like a broken record. He has lost kids like Trey Lyles, Gary Harris, Jaquan Lyle, Trevon Bluiett and others. Now tell me can he really recruit that well?
With Vonleh all but gone to the NBA, are there any 5th year transfers we should keep an eye on? I would think that if you were a big man with one more year of eligibility left, IU would be close to the top of preferred destinations. Also, while we are on the topic of 5th years,I thought this was pretty interesting. Mo Creek left IU for GWU and I bet he never thought he would be making the NCAA Tournament and not his old teammates here at IU. Evan Gordon came from ASU, who made the NCAA Tournament. These 2 things can't help the mindset of other guys thinking about coming in for their last year of college basketball. [/ quote]
Mo Creek should hold his head high for being able to play in the NCAA. I for one think he was an excellant player and if the truth was really known was pushed out of Indiana basketball by CTC. Hang in there Maurice and good luck with your future.

Fred Glass Interview (CBI, Mike Woodson, IU Scheduling)
welder332 replied to IU Hoosier41's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
As usual Fred Glass is acting like the weak AD that he is. And of coarse like the one person said, Glass is not going to say oh yea I am looking for Creans replacement. Like I said before CTC and Glass are to big of buddies. BOTH NEED TO GO "NOW". Crean doesn't get it-his horrible decision making during a game is not going to change and we are going to continue to see his dumb mistakes. This guy has never played the game and thinks he can coach at a high profile school like IU. Fred Glass is a typical business person who doesn't want you to rock the boat-now what he says is whats best for IU. -
Steve Alford doing great in first year at UCLA

Tom Crean- 1. No time out at the end of the game at Illinois 2. Many decisions like this one all year long are just no excuse -

My list of candidates to replace CREAN, and i hope that is next year would be- 1. Brad Stevens 2. Calbert Chaney 3. Steve Alford 4. Tony Bennett -
There is nothing wrong with the players speaking their piece. But they need to remember that CTC is on the pay roll for $3 million dollars a year. This year has been so bad for fans who has been around for 40 years. I personally think CTC is a good PR person but he is NOT a coach for Indiana. I saw so many times things he done and asked what is he doing. I hope he is replace soon and that he takes Fred Glass with him [why would you offer CTC a job thru 2020] is beyond me. Fred Glass and CTC are two of a kind.
