Say what you will, but I think the lack of transfers from IU (MR, MM, CG, others) is telling. In my mind, they're not "all in" on Woodson. They're waiting to see what happens. This probably sounds like a crazy theory, but I think Gunn specifically is outta-here. If anything related to Pearl or another highly regarded coach is remotely a possibility, they stay and wait for a few more weeks until the tournament is over. Or, I'm crazy.

That walk-off by Woody may have been "it" for Dolson I'd imagine. You can't bring back a coach that (1) walks out on his team and (2) can't actually coach. Where's our boy 007 with the day-after juice??

Maybe not pointing the finger at the most connected person on this board would be advantageous for us all. He, Chris, has no control over decisions made behind closed doors. And if you cared to ask him how he receives his info privately, you'd understand why he can't just blindly publish it. People connected at the very top trust Chris and share with him what they know. However, decisions get made independently or at the BOT level, which none of us can influence. People also change their minds otherwise ol'LEO would still be our football coach. Sources can be misinformed as well. To not lose the intel most of us enjoy, maybe ease up on the finger-pointing a it's getting pretty tired. Just ignore Chris if you don't believe what he says. Or leave this board.

I don't believe it. Not like, "giving Woodson a 4th year can't be real". I truly don't believe Woodson will be the coach next year. Taking off my bulletproof vest to prepare for the replies. Fire away. Let's go.

I'm a glass half full glutton for punishment, but I think all of this is going to work out in our favor. I still think there has to be more to the 4th year thing announced on social media last night. And Dolson booted LEO for Cignetti. He has the stones to do it. Timing is everything. You can't fire Woodson right now anyway, not mid season....but you can in less than 2 weeks. I simply don't see a guy (Dolson) who LOVES IU basketball making the program and fans go through a total reset again. Hurt me, hurt me now.

We need a few less "gotcha" people on this forum in my opinion....none of us get to ask for insider info from Chris007, Kathy/C, Jerry, or anyone else....and then point the finger when decisions change. If you don't want to believe what's being said behind closed doors, just take every post as a matter of opinion. But for those of you finger-pointing and chastizing users who have reliable sources close to IUBB, go find another board or simply block Chris/Kathy/Jerry/others. For me, I enjoy their insight and today's decisions often contradict yesterday's decisions, even at a BOT level. People (like the BOT) change their minds/positions on things often; don't destroy those who give us the only valuable line of sight we have.

I simply can't make sense of this. There must be something we don't know. The loss of revenue next year alone will be significant. Plus the $1M per year burn to buy him out. Plus 1 recruit coming in. All signs point to a change. There must be something we don't know....there's simply no logic here.
