No players entering the transfer portal. Can't being to describe how big of a deal this is. Cincinnati only has 4!! players left on the roster due to the COVID transfer rule. Our guys can leave a failing program with no coach whenever they want. Why aren't they? Because they were told a grand slam is coming in (without naming him, of course) and they all have an idea of who it is. It's beyond speculation otherwise our mediocre program would be fully vacated right now. Truth. -
One here. Suicide watch.

He spoke at my church one. Used a very simple logic: I don't care if we win by 1 or 21, we just need to have the ball and control of the game at the end. Or something like that. He's simple and funny. And quite faithful. -

I’m convinced. Brad started a legacy at Butler, never won it all. Moved to Boston, didn’t win. This is more than money - a sleeping giant is asking him to come on board for 25-30 years and make more money than several generations could ever spend. Legacy is why this happens. Oh, and millions and millions of pesos. -

Loaded, has your glass ever been half full, even when filled to the brim? Nobody loves me nobody cares. If life is empty and full of tears. I long for true love, searched everywhere. Nobody loves me, nobody cares. -

This is turning into Deja Vu city. Confirmed interest, flight tracking, tanking NBA team, wife in Bloomington. Dear father, please don't let me down this time. Amen. -
On behalf of the entire board, it has been 10 minutes. Where are our updates, @Chris007 and @IUwins0708??? I mean, come on. Cliff hanger here and you leave all of us salivating for 10....11...12 minutes? I expected a selfie by now.

F that guy. Attention seeker.

I'll take Miller over Dakich all day long. DD has become a jerk more than anything. I hope he reads this.
-
Now I don't like him either. Not that I did before. As in, Yule. Yule Log. Not a log, I don't have a log, I mean, you know...If I had a log. Not in the sense that you think I said I did...

This is just dumb (not you @reconmkd) Doyle is click bait only. He spends about 75% of his time bashing IU until a coaching vacancy opens up, and now he's buddies with all things IUBB. Tony Bennett is an idiotic suggestion from the town clown and is far less likely than Brad Stevens to end up in Bloomington. If Brad is "+5000" according to Vegas, add another zero for Bennett. He's comfortable & killing it at Virginia and has zero reason to leave.

I don't totally agree with this. I thought early/mid season pulling Lander too early was a problem, but he did get more playing time and showed regression. Some of Lander's shots and very, very poor passes didn't allow CAM to justify keeping him in. Tons of turnovers, poor defense and zero offensive threat. Playing through that doesn't really get us anywhere. We can blame CAM for all of this until the cows come home, but many of our problems are also rooted in players/decisions. A coach is in charge of schemes, strategy and motivation (amongst other things). Millers offensive schemes are horrific, strategy is good (but the players didn't execute well IMO) and motivation went from high to low throughout the longevity of the season. The players have to play to their abilities. In my opinion, it's worth arguing CAM didn't get the most out of his players but at the same time, most of our players underperformed greatly.
-
I really, really wish he could have figured it out. He's a great coach and for unknown reasons it just didn't work. I personally had my heart and mind set on him being here for 25 years. I'd even go as far as saying I feel like the players did him an injustice with some of their inabilities to follow direction, bad attitudes and shooting percentage head games. I truly believe wherever he goes next will be more like his Dayton experience. Can't blame it all on the players but he didn't have that part easy, and with the mess Crean left him, he was stuck with what he had. Couldn't flush guys. Also, everything you read says the staff absolutely loved CAM...all of them. Great guy - sucks this didn't work out.

If you start your next sentence with "I'm just saying" it's going to be a dead giveaway that you're the Dan Dakich burner account endlessly pushing for Alford. That said, nice to have your input, Dan.

Some of the questions being asked...woof. How are these guys professional sports journalists? Some are asking questions that require subjective answers. The art of talking to hear your own voice but convey nothing. I'm starting a new career as a sports journalist. First question: "Hi Mr Dolson. Do you think Indiana can be good at basketball again? I mean, REALL Good?"
-
Man Dolson is way more direct than Glass was. Glass spoke like a defense attorney and can probably dance a little better; Dolson just goes right for the throat chop with his answers.
-
This gets me mildly aroused.

Who posted that the announcement is likely coming Friday? That seems very fast for Brad to leave Boston....
-
Tipton Edits posted that TJD has not made his decision - hasn't even thought about it.
-
Sarcastic tone: Sounds great - let's do this again in a couple years when he retires. Cheers.
-
Guys, respectfully, Beilein is 68!!!! We do NOT want a 68 year old coach. He was great in his day, but come on...
