Okay so here is my guess on the situation. This is from when Romeo was at UNC, obviously they had a good visit and Mr. Langford is a fan of Roy and UNC in general. But that last part is pretty telling if you ask me. He made it clear that they had a plan even though he said that Romeo could make the call at anytime. Similar to what he said to ITH, but he goes the extra step with ITH to say they could cancel the KU visit. That means something to me, I don’t think this family is the kind to let words slip out without meaning. I think Romeo made his decision this weekend. Right now I think they are just checking the boxes and making sure they know how and when they want everything to happen. I could see him taking his OV to KU still and then announcing before the season and I could see him announcing this week. I could be completely wrong but I really think this is what is going on. I think you guys are right about Darius’ mother. I think those tears were a realization that IU is where he wants to be and where he can become the best version of himself. She probably had it in her mind that she was gonna be on the same campus as him and then, well Archie and Hoosier fans do what Archie and Hoosier fans do. Looking through my Crimson colored glasses, I could see a world in which TJD and Garland commit within the week(if not this weekend). The momentum of that would be immense. Romeo follows within the month and commits to become Archie’s cornerstone recruit. Ya know what, I’m calling my shot. I think it happens. My optimism can not be bottled up anymore. Just watched a few more videos on him. Holy cow, this dude is the real deal. I’m trying to figure out who he reminds me of, I get a little of Zack Collins but with some more offensive skill.
