I think it’s both. I think the talk that they’re both having “good” visits is good for us. There’s no “they knocked it out the park talk(at least yet) so i feel like this weekend probably doesn’t change much for us. That’s not the point. Archie has had 6 months to build a relationship with these kids. That’s what matters. These other coaches have had YEARS, if you don’t think that puts at a disadvantage you are wrong. Archie and staff have done an amazing job to not only get the recruits they have, but to be in the running for these two. It’s a lot easier to sell 3-4 year kids on a vision than a 1-2 player. They need to see it right away. It’s okay to be disappointed if we lose out on both of these kids, but it’s pretty foolish to think we need to rethink the strategy completely because of it. It just doesn’t seem like Romeo matters to the fans at all. Maybe it’s just the boards I’m seeing, but it’s like there’s no excitement for him being a target. They are just all in on Grimes. Plus there’s no Midnight Madness for them, there’s no football game that is going to be any good. I think that once he gets home and looks back at all the visits, we are gonna stand above. Quick piggy back off of Yogi, this is by far my favorite board for any team or subject that I’m on. I stepped away for awhile because the fire Tom Crean stuff wore me out, but I’m glad to be back and participating more like when I first signed up. We are lucky with Rabby and most of our reporters/writers they do not paint themselves into a corner with their words. Other people do though and will put out too much info and then whip up a frenzy.
