Shittu and Garland obviously have an affect on the recruitment, but not in a package deal type of way. It’s about who he is going to play with. Yes two top 15 guys is going to be very attractive to team up with. But look at our roster and who we have coming in. It’s not like we are devoid of talent. We have a top level recruiting class coming in and a decent amount of talent on the roster already. I still think IU with Romeo is a better team than Vandy with Romeo. RL is going to do what is best for his future. Schilling, Archie, Cliff, Cook Hall, Our fan base, national exposure, and more put us in a great light. Especially for Romeo to be the man. I saw Seton Hall play against Butler last year in person. Delgado is an absolute monster, he is as strong of a player I have seen play. But he does his work on the boards mostly, Desi Rodriguez is the player that worries me. He is underrated and very much a matchup nightmare. I think I’m going to try and build hype and hope over the program and over the recruiting efforts as a whole. Getting invested in individual recruits is too up and down. Seeing some of these posts remind me why I left the board for awhile. We lose out on a top 10 kid to the school that is in his backyard, the one with the coach that has know him for 10 years, and with our coach being here for a few months and the world is ending. Just stop. We were in the running with a kid that we had no shot with a few months ago. We are in a great place right now. It’s gonna be a dogfight in recruiting, we will lose some and win some.
